Arrive into Madurai airport/railway station
Welcome to your 'Peaceful South India'
On arrival in Chennai, you will be met and transferred by Vardhman's representative
to your hotel.

City tour of Madurai
Visit the great Meenakshi Temple dedicated to the consort of Lord Shiva
with its towering gopurams - (rising high above the surrounding countryside).
Later, visit the Tirumala Nayak Palace - a gracious building in the Indo-Saracenic
style, famous for the stucco work on its domes and arches.

| Day 3: Madurai -Thekkady |
This morning after breakfast drive to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Reach
and check into your hotel. Relax for the remaining part of the day. In the
evening visit Kumily Spice Market.

Full day free to Explore Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Enjoy one Elephant
ride to the plantation, Thekkady. You can also opt for any other optional
activities.
OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: You can enjoy Elephant ride, Jeep Safari, Bamboo rafting
and Nature walk at the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary.

This morning after breakfast drive to Cochin-Capital of Kerala. Reach
and check into your hotel. Relax for the remaining part of the day.

This morning proceed for the city tour of Cochin.
Visit the Dutch palace, Jewish Synagogue, chinese fishing nets, St. Francis
Church and the Santa Cruz Church. Also visit the Hill Palace Museum which
displays articles of archeological importance
OPTIONAL Activity: Attend Kathkali Dance Show in the evening.

| Day 7: Cochin-Alleppey Round backwater trip |
Attend holly mass [in English] at 8Am to 9Am at St. Francis CSI church
[Protestant group], Fort Cochin. After that drive to Alleppey. Reach and
check into your houseboat.
Alleppey has often been referred to as the Venice of the East by travelers
from around the world. A round about tour, in which the cruise takes you
through the clear waters of the prominent Punnamada Lake, the Nehru Trophy
snake boat race. You can visit the 400 year old Champakulam church one of
the seven churches established by St. Thomas. The Chavara Bhavan, located
6 km from Alleppey, is another interesting place to visit. The Blessed Karaoke
Elias Chavara, the Chavara Bhavanhouse 250 year old beacon of light preserved
intact in its original and primitive from, overnight stay at Houseboat

| Day 8: Alleppey- Kovalam |
The houseboat comes to halt this morning at Alleppey. Disembark the
houseboat after a leisurely breakfast and then drive to Kovalam, one of
the best beaches of the world for rest and relaxation. On arrival check
in to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure or free for leisure activities on
the beach.

This morning after breakfast proceed on a city tour of Thiruvananthapuram
covering Museum complex, Padmanabha Swamy Temple, Science & Technology
museum, Veli Tourist village, Aakulam boat club, Shangmugham Beach after
breakfast. Return to Kovalam to stay overnight. With this tour to the wonderful
cities of Kerala, you would be able to explore Kerala to fullest.

Full day free to relax or for leisure activities on the Golden beach
of Kovalam.
