Welcome to Vardhman's "Short Backwater trip"
On arrival in Trivandrum, you will be met by Vardhman's representative &
then drive to Alleppey. Reach and check-in your houseboat. Alleppey has
often been referred to as the Venice of the East by travelers from around
the world. A round about tour, in which the cruise takes you through the
clear waters of the prominent Punnamada Lake, the Nehru Trophy snake boat
race. You can visit the 400 year old Champakulam church one of the seven
churches established by St. Thomas. The Chavara Bhavan, located 6 km from
Alleppey, is another interesting place to visit. The Blessed Karaoke Elias
Chavara, the Chavara Bhavan house 250 year old beacon of light preserved
intact in its original and primitive from, overnight stay at Houseboat.

| Day 2: Alleppey -Trivandrum |
This morning drive back to Trivandrum. Reach and check into your hotel.
Freshen up and then proceed to visit the city.
Visit Museum complex, Science & Technology museum, Travancore/ Padmanabhpuram
Palace, Veli Tourist village, Aakulam boat club, Shangmugham Beach. Rest
of the day free for leisure activities on the Golden beaches of Kovalam.

Early morning transfer to Trivandrum airport to catch flight for your onward
destination with sweet and unforgettable memories of your "Short Backwater
trip" escorted with Vardhman Vacations.
