Day 01 Delhi

Arrive into Delhi
Welcome to Vardhman's "Panch Kedar Trek"!
On arrival in Delhi, you will be met and transferred by Vardhman's representative
to your hotel. Relax for the remaining part of the day.

Day 02 Delhi -Rishikesh
Morning after breakfast drive to Rishikesh. Rishikesh, situated on the
banks of the Ganges. Rishikesh, also known as the 'place of sages' is Haridwar,
at the confluence of the Chandrabhaga and Ganga. It is believed that God
by the name of 'Hrishikesh' had appeared as an answer to the hard penances
by Rabhiya Rishi and henceforth the place derived its name.
Upon arrival, check in your pre-booked hotel. Relax for a while and later
visit Rishikesh City of Nirvana dotted with numerous yoga centers.
Laxman Jhula :- one of the biggest tourist attractions in Rishikesh, Laxman
Jhula is a suspended bridge on the Ganges. Legend has it that Laxman had
crossed the river Ganges at this spot on a bridge of ropes. Now a suspended
iron bridge 450 ft long, built in 1939 exists here. The Laxman Jhula is
something you cannot simply miss on a tour to Rishikesh.
Ram Jhula :- another suspended bridge between Shivanand Ashram and Sawarg
Ashram, Ram Jhula has been named after Laxmans elder brother Ram.
Bharat Mandir :- built by Adiguru Shankracharya, the Hindu saint in 12th
century, this is the oldest temple in Rishikesh. It is located on the bank
of river Ganges in the old town and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, whose idol
carved out of a single 'Salagram' stands here.
Rishikund :- Legend has it that, the river Goddess Yamuna was so pleased
with the saint Kubz that she filled this tank with water.
Nilkanth Mahadeo :- according to Hindu mythology when the ocean was being
churned out for amrit by the gods and the demons, it was venom
that first oozed out. This venom was swallowed by Lord Shiva at this spot
and the place got its name from that event.

Day 03 - Rishikesh - Pipalkoti
Morning after breakfast drive to Pipalkhoti. On the way, sightseeing
at Deoprayag. Deoprayag is the confluence point of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi
rivers, through the vast network of tributaries, to form Ganges. It is
only from Deoprayag that the sacred river starts being called Ganga. At
a height of 2700 feet above sea level, it is a sacred pilgrimage centre
and is considered the second most divine confluence centre in India, next
only to Prayag. One of the famous temples here is the Raghunath Temple,
which is considered as one of the 108 most important temples in India
Continue drive to reach Pipalkhoti. Upon arrival, check into your hotel.
Relax for rest of the day or you can visit local market in the evening.

Day 04 - Pipalkoti - Kalpeshwar
This morning after breakfast drive to reach Helaing. On arrival start
trekking to reach Kalpeshwar in 5 hrs. Trek on the way.
Visit Urgam village and evening Puja at the temple.
Kalpeshwar is situated in the picturesques forests of Urgam Valley. The
Kalpeshwar temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva where the Lords head
(and hair) is particularly worshipped.

Day 05- Kalpeshwar - Dumak
Early morning after breakfast start trek for Dumak. En route visit
to the Garhwali villages for meeting with the local families and traditional
dress. Arrival Dumak, a very small village and check into your hotel.
In the evening visit village and temple.

Day 06 - Dumak - Toli
Early morning, after breakfast start trek 6 hrs gradually ascending
through thick forest containing a reach variety of flora and fauna numerous
herbs areas found in this area. And the local are known to pick them for
local use.

Day 07 - Toli - Rudranath
Early morning after breakfast start trek walk to cross the pass of
Rudranath Gradual but long up walk of 7 hrs.
At Rudranath, the face of Lord Shiva is worshipped as Neelkanth Mahadev.
Some of the holy Kunds like Suryakund, Chandrakund, and Tarakund are situated
nearby. The temple site offers breathtaking views of Hathi Parvat, Nanda
Devi, Nanda Ghunti, Trishuli and other peaks. In the evening visit Shiva
Temple and around beautiful panorama mountain with snow cover.

Day 08 - Rudranath - Ansuya Devi Temple
Early morning after breakfast start trek to Ansuya Devi passing through
the coniferous forest. In the evening visit the famous temple of Ansuya
Devi.

Day 09 - Ansuya Devi - Tungnath
Early morning after breakfast start trek down 5 kms to road ahead
and drive to Chopta and Trek Chopta to Tungnath.
Afternoon witness Puja with Brahman.
Overnight: Tent
Day 10 - Tungnath - Kalimath
Early morning visit temple of lord Shiva. Then after breakfast trek
down 5 kms road ahead and drive to Kalimath.
Visit the famous temple Kalidevi.
Overnight: Tent
Day 11 - Kalimath - Madmaheshwar
Early morning after breakfast trek 8 hrs and on the way visit traditional
village.
Visit temple.
Overnight: Tent
Day 12 - Madmaheshwar - Kalimath
Early morning after breakfast trek come back Kalimath.
Overnight: Tent
Day 13 - Kalimath - Gaurikund
Morning after breakfast drive to Gaurikund. On the way visit Okhimath.
Overnight:Hotel
Day 14 - Gaurikund - Kedarnath
Early morning after breakfast walk up towards Kedarnath 5 hrs along
with of hindu pilgrims from different cultures of India on the way is
full of Sahadus Chanting Religious hymns. Kedarnath is most significant
of all Hindu Shrines the feeling and atmosphere and aweing spiring Shrine
temple and participate with flowers.

Day 15 - Kedarnath - Gaurikund
Early morning after breakfast trek down to Gaurikund. Evening at leisure
to explore local market.

Day 16 - Gaurikund - Haridwar
Morning after breakfast drive to Haridwar. Haridwar is also famous
by the names of gangadwar, Mokshadwar, Tapovan and Mayapuri. It is at
Haridwar that the Ganga finaly energes into the northern plains. Upon
arrival check into your hotel.
Evening for Arti ceremony witness at Har Ki Pairi, ganga simmering with
Purning temples and Echoing Prayers.
Har Ki Pairi Ghat: Har Ki Pairi ghat is the prime tourist attraction of
Haridwar. This wonderful riverside bank was constructed by King Vikramaditya
in memory of his brother Bhartrihari. It is said that all the sins that
a mortal commits are washed out by bathing at this river-bank. In the
evening just when the Sun is about to go down below the horizon, priests
perform the religious rite on the bank of the river. This is extremely
scenic and people join in the devotional song. After the ritual is over,
small candles are floated on the river. The place looks enchanting. The
atmosphere is very peaceful and you will surely love it.

Day 17 - Haridwar
Early morning after breakfast visit to Mansa Devi Temple for hill
view of Ganga and this religious town.
Later visit the amazing Ghat Hindus pour ashes of their end.
Evening free.

Day 18 - Haridwar - Delhi
Early morning after breakfast drive to Delhi. Upon arrival, check
into your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 19 - Delhi
This morning after breakfast proceed for the sightseeing of Delhi.
Visit main attraction like Qutab Minar, Humayun's tomb, Lakshminarayan
Temple, a modern Hindu Temple, Parliament House, Government Secretarial
Building and Connaught place, the shopping centre of New Delhi.
Visit Red Fort, built in 1648 by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan, Jama Masjid,
one of the largest Mosque of India, Raj Ghat and
Shanti Vana, the cremation sites of Mahatama Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru.
Also drive past Chandni Chowk, shopping centre of Old Delhi.
In the evening transfer to Delhi International Airport to board the flight
for your onward destination with sweet and unforgettable memories of "Panch
Kedar Trek' escorted by Vardhman Vacations.
