Arrive into Srinagar
Welcome to Vardhman's "Amarnath Yatra with Helicopter"!
On arrival in Srinagar you will be met and transferred to Sonmarg by Vardhman's
representative. Upon arrival check in at your pre-booked hotel. Relax for
a while and then proceed to visit Thajewas Glacier.
Thajiwas Glacier is situated at an altitude of 3,000 m above sea level,
the glacier is covered with snow all the year round.

Day 02: Yatra by Helicopter - Srinagar
Early morning drive to Baltal. On arrival, board the helicopter from Baltal
Helipad. Arrive at the Amarnath cave for “darshan” for one to
two hours.
Amarnath caves: The Amarnath caves are one of the most famous shrines in
Hinduism, dedicated to the God Shiva. Inside the main Amarnath cave lies
an ice stalagmite resembling the Shiva Linga, which waxes during May to
August and gradually wanes thereafter. This lingam is said to grow and shrink
with the phases of the moon, reaching its height during the summer festival.
There are four to five ice figures resembling various deities inside the
Amarnath cave. As per the custom, the largest one is believed to be of Amarnath
(Lord Shiva), one on its left of Lord Ganesha and ones on the right of Parvati
and Bhairava respectively.
Return to Baltal and then drive back to Srinagar. Check into your houseboat/Hotel
upon arrival for an overnight stay.

Day 03: Srinagar
This morning after breakfast transfer to the Srinagar airport/railway station
to catch flight/train for your onward destination with sweet and unforgettable
memories of "Amarnath Yatra with Helicopter" escorted by Vardhman
