Day 01. Arrive Delhi

Arrive into Delhi
Welcome to Vardhman's " Rajasthna Bird Tour "!
On arrival in Delhi, you will be met and transferred by Vardhman's
representative to your hotel. Relax for a while and later proceed
on a city tour of Delhi.

Day 02. Delhi - Corbett National Park
Morning drive to Corbett National Park. On the way stop
at Ramnagar and look for the fabulous IBISBILL amongst the
riverside boulders.
Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Later proceed for an
afternoon to KOSI riverbanks. Rest of the day at leisure.
Jim Corbett National Park used to be just another Himalayan
forest until in 1936 it was demarcated as a reserve area by
the British Government. Jim Corbett Park is spread over 520
sq kms and is covered with huge stretches of Savannah type
grasslands and Sal forests. In 1957 this place was renamed
as Jim Corbett National Park from Hailey national Park. It
was declared as an almost exclusive Tiger Reserve on 1st April
1973 with the help of World Wildlife Fund. Since the place
is situated on the lower Himalayan belt of vegetation, it
is an eco-tourism spot too.

Day 03. Corbett National Park
Full day free to visit Corbett National Park. Enjoy a
full day birding along the riverbanks and in the nearby green
area.

Day 04. Corbett National Park - Dudhwa National Park
Morning depart from Corbett National Park for Dudhwa National
Park. Another sub-Himalayan jungle with many Swamp Deer, Tigers
and a variety of birds. On arrival check-in at the forest
lodge.
Dudhwa National Park: It is stretched in an area across 810
square kilometers. The core area of the park itself is spanned
around 650 square Kilometers. Although Dudhwa National Park
has a range of animal as well as avian population, the park
is famous as a perfect habitat for Swamp deer and Tigers.
Dudhwa National Park was declared a national park in the year
1958. In the due course, keeping in mind its importance, it
was first converted to a wildlife sanctuary in the year 1977
and was later declared a Project Tiger reserve in the year
1988.

Day 5. Dudhwa National Park
Morning and afternoon excursions in the wildlife park.

Day 06. Dudhwa National Park - Lucknow
After breakfast at the hotel drive to Lucknow. On arrival
at Delhi, you will be transfered to your hotel by our representative.
Relax for the remaining part of the day.

Day 07. Lucknow
Full day city tour of Lucknow visiting the Chota and Bada
Imam Bara (with one of the largest vaunted halls of the world),
La Martiniere school. Evening ride a tonga, horse drawn carriage
through the Meena bazar.

Day 08. Lucknow - Varanasi
Morning depart for varanasi by surface. On arrival check-in
at the hotel. Evening free at leisure or optional dance performance
at an old mansion on the banks of the river Ganges.

Day 09. Varanasi - Khajuraho
Drive early morning to Daswamedh Ghat and take a boat
ride (at your own cost) on the sacred river Ganges to see
the cremation Ghats and witness the living traditions of one
of the world's oldest and most important religions. (To start
at 0500 hrs. for the best lifetime experience). Thousands
of faithful come daily to the banks to bathe and pray while
in the background, temples and palaces rise in tiers from
the water's edge.Then return for a walk through the cobblestone
streets along the banks of "Ganga".
Also visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple , Gyanvapi Mosque and
Benaras Hindu University.
Later in the afternoon transfer to the airport to catch flight
for Khajuraho. Upon arrival at Khajuraho airport you will
be met and transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 10. Khajuraho - Bandhavgarh
Morning explore the architectural marvels of "the
Khajuraho temples" that are famous for their erotic carvings.
Later, drive (210 kms.) to Bandhavgarh, a rich grassland jungle
with a very high probability of Tiger sighting. On arrival
check-in at your hotel. Relax for a while and later enjoy
a full day of birding inside the jungle.
Bandhavgarh National Park: It is one of the most exotic wildlife
destinations in India. An erstwhile game reserve of the royal
family of Rewa, Bandhavgarh got recognition as a wildlife
park in 1968, when the Maharaja of Rewa bequeathed the park
to the Government. Initially the park stretched to 105.40-sq-kms
in area, with 25 resident tigers forming its prime attraction.
Visiting Bandhavgarh and trailing tigers on Elephant Safari
or cutting through the jungle tracks in a jeep (Jeep Safari)
promises to give you one of the best wildlife experiences
in the state.

Day 11. Bandhavgarh
Enjoy birding inside the jungle and on the periphery.
Then take a trip to the Bandhavgarh Fort.
Bandhavgarh Fort:The Bandhavgarh Fort is situated in Bandhavgarh
in Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh. It is located on the
Bandhavgarh hill, rising 811 meters above sea level at the
centre of the Bandhavgarh National Park. It is a surrounded
by a large number of smaller hills separated by gently sloping
valleys. These valleys end in small, swampy meadows, locally
known as 'bohera'.

Day 12. Bandhavgarh - Kanha
After breakfast drive to Kanha. Reach in the afternoon
and relax at the hotel.
Kanha National Park: A land that inspired Rudyard Kipling
to write his classic novel 'Jungle Book', the forested areas
of Kanha, with their wild thickets of sal and bamboo forests,
rolling meadows and dramatic ravines, are home to the Kanha
National Park. The Created in 1955, the national park is today
the core area of the Kanha Tiger Reserve, which came into
being in 1974, under Project Tiger. The Banjar and the Halon
valley form the two halves constituting the vast stretches
of land that is the Kanha Tiger Reserve.

Day 13. Kahna
Enjoy a full day game viewing inside the jungle. Morning
and evening excursions to the park for wildlife viewing.

Day 14. Kanha - Nagpur - Delhi
Morning transfer to Nagpur airport to board the flight for
Delhi. On arrival at Delhi domestic airport transfer to Delghi
International airport (through shuttle service available free
of cost at the airport) to board your International flight for
onward journey with sweet and unforgettable memories of your
tour escorted by Vardhman Vacations.
