Day 01: Srinagar
Begin your tour
Reach Srinagar airport
Welcome to "Short Escape of Kashmir"
On arrival at Srinagar Airport, you will be met and transferred by our representative
to the hotel/houseboat. Relax for a while and later proceed for Shikara
ride at Dal Lake.
Dal Lake: Dal Lake is a scenic picnic spot surrounded by forests of pine.
It is a good base for trekkers. A colorful annual fair is held here every
September.
Shikara Ride: Shikara is a Gondola type light rowing boat. The one hour
boat ride takes tourists on a relaxing sightseeing tour of interior parts
of the calm and placid waters of Dal Lake, to see the market and the floating
Gardens.
Overnight: Houseboat/Hotel
Day 02: Srinagar-Gulmarg-Srinagar
Morning proceed to Gulmarg (58 kms /2hrs) Enroute view Apple orchards.
Visit the Golf course and experience the longest cable car ride upto the
Khilanmarg snow point. Later drive back to Srinagar. Overnight: Houseboat/Hotel
Day 03: Srinagar-Pahalgam-Srinagar
After breakfast, proceed to Pahalgam (95 kms/2.5 hrs). The valley of
Shepherds. Enroute visit Avantipur ruins and view saffron fields. Evening
return to Srinagar.

Day 04: Srinagar
After breakfast sightseeing of the Mughal Gardens, visiting Nishat Bagh
built by Asaf Khan, the brother- in-law of Emperor Jehangir in 1632 A.D.
Shalimar Bagh was built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Nur Jahan. All
the gardens are situated on the banks of the Dal Lake with the Zabarwan
hills in the background. Enroute visit the gardens and a carpet weaving
factory.
Evening free for relaxation.

Day 05: Srinagar
On the last day of your tour transfer to Srinagar airport to catch flight
for your onward destination with sweet and pleasant memories of your tour
escorted by Vardhman Vacations.
