Your itinerary day by day
Day 1: Cochin
Begin your tour
Welcome to your "Extended Kerala Wildlife & Backwater Tour"
Vardhman's representative will meet & greet you & then transfer to your
hotel. After relaxation go for a half day sightseeing of Cochin, Visit the famous
Dutch Palace - with its wonderful mural painting the entire story of the Ramayana
in its walls, Jewish Synagogue, Jews Street, St.Francis church, Chinese fishing
net - are huge cantilevered fishing net & the indo-Portuguese Museum. Later
transfer you back to Hotel.

Day 2: Cochin -
Munnar
After an early morning breakfast, check out from the hotel &
embark on a fascinating journey to Munnar enjoying the stunning panoramic view
of the Cardamom hills & green carpets of tea plantations enroute. On arrival,
check in at Hotel/ Resort. Spend the rest of the day at leisure trekking around
the estate.

Day 3: Munnar
A morning
sight seeing trip of Munnar; visiting the Eravikulam National Park where you can
see the very rare mountain goats locally called the Nilgiri Tahr, the Mattupetty
Dam & Dairy Farm, Old Munnar Town, the town market etc. Rest of the day at
leisure and enjoy another overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 4: Munnar - Thekkady
After an early breakfast, check out
from the Hotel & proceed to the wildlife sanctuary at Periyar/Thekkady and
check in at the Hotel/Resort. Go on an evening game viewing cruise on the Periyar
Lake. Here you will be able to see a large variety of wildlife, which include
elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar etc, and quite a lot of unique birds can also
be spotted. Later, come back to the hotel relax & enjoy your stay overnight.

Day 5: Thekkady -Alleppey
After breakfast
proceed to Alleppey. Enroute you can see many romantic beauty of the nature which
will remind you that you are in the "God's Own Country". You can view
coconut palm fringed roads where on one side you can see sea and on the other
side backwaters. Check into the House Boat where you will forget everything except
enjoyment of life. Rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight: Houseboat
Day 6: Alleppey- Kumarakom
After morning breakfast, Proceed to Kumarakom.
Check into a resort at the bank of the Vembanand Lake where you will forget everything
except enjoyment of life. Rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight: Hotel
Day 7: Cochin
After breakfast transfer to Cochin airport/railway
station to catch flight/train for your onward destination with sweet and unforgettable
memories of your tour escorted by Vardhman Vacations.
