Day 1: Cochin-Munnar
Begin your tour
Welcome to your "Short Escape to Kerala"
Vardhman's representative
will meet & greet you & then drive straight to Munnar. Reach & check
-In at your hotel. Relax for the remaining part of the day.
Overnight: Hotel
Day 2: Munnar
After breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing
trip of Munnar - covering some of the major sightseeing - Mattupetty Lake &
Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake, Blossom Garden, Rajamalai, Eravikulam Wildlife
sanctuary home of Nilgiry Thar (very rare mountain goat), considering the ecological
faunal, floral, geo- morphological and zoological significant & Tea Plantation.
Overnight: Hotel
Day 3: Munnar - Thekkady
After breakfast
and move to Thekkady (120 Kms / 4 Hrs). Check into Hotel at Thekkady. After refreshing
go for a spice plantation Tour to see crops of cardamom cinnamon, pepper, coffee,
tea estate (Optional) & later for boating in the Periyar lake- its centre
piece of Periyar Wildlife sanctuary also Periyar Tiger reserve, man made lake
of the height of 2000 ft, enjoying view the wildlife at the Periyar tiger reserve
(Optional). Later return to hotel for overnight stay.
Overnight: Hotel
Day 4: Thekkady - Cochin
After breakfast drive to Cochin (200
Kms and 5 Kms drive). Check in at Hotel. After relaxation go for a half day sightseeing
of Cochin, Visit the famous Dutch Palace - with its wonderful mural painting the
entire story of the Ramayana in its walls, Jewish Synagogue, Jews Street, St.Francis
church, Chinese fishing net - are huge cantilevered fishing net & the indo-Portuguese
Museum. Later we will transfer you back to Hotel.
Overnight: Hotel
Day 5: Cochin
After breakfast transfer to Cochin airport/railway station
to catch flight/train for your onward destination with sweet and unforgettable
memories of your tour escorted by Vardhman Vacations.
