Day 01: Delhi
Begin
your tour
Arrive into Delhi railway station/airport
Welcome to your "Mata
Vaishno Devi tour with Srinagar & Amritsar"
Vardhman representative
will meet & greet you & then transfer you to your hotel. Fresh-up &
then proceed to visit India's Capital city- Delhi. Visit tourist places of interest
like Qutab Minar, Lotus temple, Humayun's tomb, Red fort, India gate, Jama Masjid,
Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana, Parliament House & Government Secretarial Building.
In the evening explore Connaught place, the shopping centre of New Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi - Jammu by overnight Train
Morning
visit Akshardham temple [Closed on every Monday]. Relax for the remaining part
of the day.
In the evening transfer to Delhi railway station to board overnight
train 12425 +JAMMU RAJDHANI at 2040hrs.

Day 03: Jammu - Katra
Reach Jammu Tawi railway station at 0540hrs &
then drive towards Katra. On arrival, check-in at the Hotel. Relax for a while
and later in the evening start trek of approximately 12 km to reach the cave of
Mata Vaishno Devi. Reach Maa Vaishno Devi Darbar. Check into rooms available at
Bhawan for an overnight rest.

Day 04: Mata Vaishno
Devi Temple & Bhairon Temple-Katra
Early morning takes darshan (a
view) of the goddess inside her holy cave. The cave does not contain any statues
or photos. The cave houses three natural rock formations, called the Pindies that
represent the three goddesses. The pindi in the middle represents Laxmi Mata,
on the right is Kali Mata and on the left is Saraswati Mata. Vaishnodevi pilgrimage
tour is considered to be one of the holiest pilgrimages in India. Then after visiting
Bhairon temple (2.5 km from the Bhawan) trek back to Katra. Reach Katra and check
into your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 05:
Katra-Srinagar
Early morning leave for Srinagar. Enroute enjoy Kashmir
Valley view. Arrive Srinagar in the evening and check into hotel/houseboat.

Day 06: Srinagar
After breakfast
sightseeing of the Mughal Gardens, visiting Nishat Bagh built by Asaf Khan, the
brother- in-law of Emperor Jehangir in 1632 A.D. Shalimar Bagh was built by Jehangir
for his wife Empress Nur Jahan. All the gardens are situated on the banks of the
Dal Lake with the Zabarwan hills in the background. Enroute visit the gardens
and a carpet weaving factory.

Day 07:
Srinagar-Gulmarg-Srinagar
This morning proceed on a full day excursion
to Gulmarg (58 kms / 2hrs). Visit the golf course and experience the longest cable
car ride up to Khilanmarg snow point. Later drive back to Srinagar.

Day 08: Srinagar -Pahalgam-Srinagar
After
breakfast, proceed to Pahalgam (95 kms / 2.5 hrs), the valley of Shepherds. Enroute
visit Avantipur ruins and view saffron fields. Evening return to Srinagar.

Day 10: Srinagar-Patnitop
After
breakfast, leave for Patnitop (190 kms/7 hrs), a scenic midway point between Jammu
and Srinagar. Upon arrival, check into Hotel. Evening at leisure.

Day 11: Patnitop
Full day free to explore beautiful
hill resort of the Kashmir valley- Patnitop located at a height of 2024 meters.
Some of the main attractions of Patnitop are delightful picnic spots, serene walks
and magnificent views of the mountains forming the backdrop of the Chenab basin.
A number of snow games like skiing add to the charm of the hill resort in winters.

Day 12: Patnitop-Amritsar
Proceed to Amritsar
(290 kms / 7 hrs).Upon arrival, Check into hotel. Later visit Golden Temple, Akal
Takht, Jalianwala Bagh .Evening visit to Indo Pak Wagha Border and back to hotel.

Day13: Amritsar- Delhi by Shatabdi
train
This morning transfer to Amritsar railway station to board train
number 12014 +AMRITSAR SHTBDI at 0510hrs. Reach Delhi railway station at 1115hrs
& then you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to your
Delhi airport to board flight to back home with sweet and unforgettable memories
