Day 1 : Bhubaneswar.
Begin your
tour
Arrive into Bhubaneswar.
Welcome to Vardhman's 'Golden Triangle of
Odisha'!
You will be met by Vardhman's representative & then transfer
to your prebooked hotel. Freshen up and then Proceed for half day sightseeing
of Tribal Museum to see a glimpse of trible life & culture as Odisha has 62
tribes (closed on Monday), Khandagiri & Udayagiri caves, the twin hills honeycombed
with architectural & sculptural splendor, Jain Caves belonging to 2nd century
B.C.
Overnight: Bhubaneswar
Day 2 : Bhubaneswar
Morning
after breakfast proceed to visit the city of temples and enjoy hundereds of beautiful
temples intact including the soaring spire of Lingaraj Temple(11th century AD),
Mukteswar temple (10th Century AD with its magnificent stone arch called the gem
of Orissan architecture, Pursurameswar Temple (7th Century AD) with its latticed
windows and exquisite carvings, Raja Rani Temple (11th Century AD) known for its
architectural grandeur.
After Lunch visit to Nandan Kanan Zoo (Closed on
Monday) famous for its white tiger Safari & Botanical Garden at the backdrop
of natural forest & enchanting lake.
Overnight : Bhuabaneswar
Day 3 : Bhubaneswar-Konark - Puri
Early morning drive to Konark enroute
visit Dhauli the peace pagoda, Pipili the colorful appliqué work village
then visit the world Heritage magnificent Sun Temple at Konark.
Proceed to
Puri one of the four major pilgrim centres and check in to the hotel, Evening
visit to the world famous Temple of Lord Jagannath. (Non-Hindus are not allowed
but one can get a clear picture of the structure from the vintage point on Raghunandan
Library).
Relax on the golden beach of Puri & relish the fresh air coming
from the Bay of Bengal
Overnight : Puri
Day 4 : Puri - Raghurajpur
- Bhubaneswar
Drive back to Bhubaneswar enroute visit to the enchanting
craft village Raghrajpur, the hub of Orissan Paintings and Handicrafts especially
Pattachitra where one can see the artisans at work in an ethnic atmosphere. Drive
back to Bhubaneswar for departure.
