Begin your tour. Arrive into Delhi Welcome to Vardhman's 'Rajasthan
Cultural Tour'! On arrival in Delhi, you will be met and transferred by Vardhman's
representative to your hotel. Later proceed for a combined city tour
of Old and New Delhi Visit the main attraction like Qutab Minar, Humayun's
tomb, Lakshminarayan Temple, a modern Hindu Temple, Parliament House, Government
Secretarial Building and Connaught place, the shopping centre of New Delhi.
City tour of Old Delhi. Visit Red Fort, built in 1648 by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan,
Jama Masjid, one of the largest Mosque of India, Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana, the
cremation sites of Mahatama Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. Also drive past Chandni
Chowk, shopping centre of Old Delhi. Overnight: Hotel Day 02 : Delhi
- Mandawa Early morning drive to Mandawa and transfer to hotel. Visit
Mandawa Afternoon visit Mandawa, founded in 1755 by Thakur Nawal Singh and
still the home of his descendants. See beautiful frescoes, havelis and mansions.
Mandawa castle, one of the finest castles of Rajasthan, is now a hotel and house
of collections of armories, costumes of ancestors, canons from 1820, ancient coins,
numismatic collection and many other interesting items, preserved in a museum.
A walking tour of the painted 'havelis' of some of the leading business families
of the country. Overnight: Hotel Day 03 : Mandawa - Bikaner This
morning after breakfast drive from Mandawa to Bikaner and check into your hotel
Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight: Hotel Day 04 : Bikaner
Visit Bikaner Bikaner is named after its founder Rao Bikaji in 1488. Long
before this, the city was a trade center on the caravan routes from Africa and
West Asia. Bikaner dominant features are rippling sands and abundant sunshine.
The city stands on an elevation, enclosed by a 7 kms. wall, which can be entered
from 5 gates. Bikaner City is bolstered by imposing walls and has a 16th century
fort housing old palaces, temples and mosque. Founded by Raja Rai Singh, the fort
is distinguished by its long range of 37 pavilions, a line of balconies and aerial
windows of varying designs. City tour with e.g. visits to the Jain temples (Bhandasar
Jain-temple and Sandeshwar-temple), Lakshminath-temple, the Lalgarh Palace and
the Junagarh Fort,with the museum next to it, afterwards to the bazaar and a Camel
Breeding Farm. Also visit the museum, Bhanda Sagar Jain and Deshnoke Rat temple.
Overnight: Hotel Day 05 : Bikaner - Jaisalmer This morning
you drive to Jaisalmer. Enroute visit Pokharan Fort Then continue onward to
Jaisalmer- The desert city and check into your hotel, visit to the Jaisalmer Fort.
Overnight: Hotel Day 06 : Jaisalmer City tour of Jaisalmer
Visit to sand dunes Proceed on a city tour with visit to the Gadi Sagar Tank
and Patwah-ki-Haveli. Afterwards a walk in the small streets of the old city (haveli's).
Tombs by oase (Bada Bagh en Chhatris), Gadisar Lake. Visit the famous forts &
Havelies. Overnight: Hotel Day 07 : Jaisalmer - Jodhpur This
morning after breakfast drive to Jodhpur and check into your hotel. Half day
of City tour Visit the Mehrangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone hill,
including Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble
memorium built in 1899 and the Museum located in the Umaid Public gardens, in
the evening a walk in the old city. Overnight: Hotel Day 08 : Jodhpur
- Kumbhalgarh After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Kumbhalgarh and check-in
at the hotel. Afternoon visit Kumbhalgarh fort. Overnight: Hotel Day
09 : Kumbhalgarh-Udaipur Breakfast will be at the hotel. Drive to Udaipur
and check-in at the hotel Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight: Hotel
Day 10 : Udaipur City tour of Udaipur Visit the City Palace,
Jagdish Temple, drive around Fatehsagar Lake, Sahelion ki Bari (Queen resort for
her friends) and Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (Folk Art Museum), the Winter Palace
and the big City Palace with museum, short drive to the tempels of Nagda and to
the tempelcomplex of Eklingji (by 6 PM if possible), boat trip: Jagmandir Island.
Boat Cruise on Lake Pichola Boat curise on Lake Pichola 4km long and 3km broad,
surrounded by splendid hills, Palaces, temples bathing ghats and embankments.
Overnight: Hotel Day 11 : Udaipur - Chittaurgarh - Kotah Drive
to Kotah enroute visit Chittaurgarh. On arrival, check-in at the hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight: Hotel Day 12 : Kotah - Bundi
- Ranthambhore This morning after breakfast drive to Ranthambhore en-route
visit Bundi. On arrival, check-in at the hotel Rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight: Hotel Day 13 : Ranthambhore - Jaipur This morning
proceed on a morning and afternoon safari into the Jungle. Later in the forenoon,
drive to Jaipur and on arrival check in at your prebooked hotel. Overnight:
Hotel Day 14 : Jaipur Morning visit Amer Fort & elephant
ride. City tour of Jaipur This morning you will experience the wonders
of this magicial pink city, as you proceed on a tour of Amber fort - which is
set on the dry wrinkled Aravali Hills, and surrounded by fortified battlements.
We will ride up to this hilltop palace on a caparisoned, painted elephant. Later
visit the Jagmandir or the Hall of victory glitterning with mirrors, Maharaja's
City Palace and the Observatory - The Solar Observatory - an astronomical treasure
house, with solar device that give accurate predictions till date. The City Palace
reflects a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Drive past Hawa Mahal
or the Palace of Winds, a five-storied structure of pink sandstone with semi-octagonal
and delicately honeycombed windows overlooking the main street of the old city
and through the rose pink residential and business areas of Jaipur. Overnight:
Hotel Day 15 : Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra Breakfast will
be at the hotel and leave for Agra enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur
Sikri : The deserted, red Sandstone City, Emperor Akbar built that as his capital
and palace in the late 16th century is an exhilarating experience. It a veritable
fairytale city and its "ruins" are in pristine condition ... it's not
hard to imagine what the court life must have been like in the days of it's grandeur.
Also visit the Buland Darwaza, the largest gateway in the world. On to Agra.
On arrival at Agra, transfer to your hotel. Relax for the day at leisure.
Overnight: Hotel Day 16 : Agra - Delhi City tour of Agra City
tour of the romantic city of 'Taj Mahal' - Agra! Visit Taj Mahal, Red fort
& Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula. Later you will visit a marble gallery - the flagship
store in Agra which offers an excellant range of white marble, fashionable wear
& exotic wooden articles, truly a one stop shop! In the evening drive
back to Delhi, and on arrival transfer to International Airport to board the flight
for your onward journey to back home with sweet and unforgettable memories of
