01 - Delhi Begin your tour. Arrive into Delhi Welcome to Vardhman's
Rajasthan Tribal Tour ! On arrival in Delhi, you will be met and transferred by
Vardhman's representative to your hotel. Afternoon Combined city tour of
New Delhi & Old Delhi Visit Qutab Minar, Humayun's tomb, Lakshminarayan
Temple, a modern Hindu Temple, Parliament House, Government Secretarial Building
and Connaught place, the shopping centre of New Delhi. Visit Red Fort, built
in 1648 by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan, Jama Masjid, one of the largest Mosque of
India, Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana, the cremation sites of Mahatama Gandhi and Jawaharlal
Nehru. Also drive past Chandni Chowk, shopping centre of Old Delhi. Overnight:
Hotel Day 02 - Delhi-Mandawa This morning after a leisurely breakfast
we will proceed for Mandawa. On arrival at Mandawa check in at hotel. Visit
Mandawa Afternoon visit Mandwa, founded in 1755 by Thakur Nawal Singh and
still the home of his descendants. See beautiful frescoes, havelis and mansions.
Mandawa castle, one of the finest castles of Rajasthan, is now a hotel and house
of collections of armories, costumes of ancestors, canons from 1820, ancient coins,
numismatic collection and many other interesting items, preserved in a museum.
A walking tour of the painted 'havelis' of some of the leading business families
of the country. Overnight: Hotel Day 03 - Mandawa-Bikaner
This morning after leisurly breakfast we will proceed for Bikaner by surface
enroute visiting typical village. On arrival check-in at the hotel.
Overnight: Hotel Day 04 - Bikaner After breakfast proceed for
morning City Tour of Bikaner. Bikaner city is bolstered by imposing walls and
has a 16th century fort housing old palaces, temples and a mosque. Founded by
Raja Rai Singh, the fort is distinguished by its long range of 37 pavilions, a
line of balconies and aerial windows of varying designs. An enormous arched doorway
leads to the Joramal Temple. The royal chapel is Har Mandir where royal weddings
and births were once celebrated. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight: Hotel Day
05 - Bikaner-Kuchaman This morning after a leisurly breakfast we will
proceed for Kuchaman by surface. This small city of Kuchaman is in Nagaur
district of Rajasthan, and is known for its impressive fort that has been converted
into a heritage hotel. It also has couple of Havelis, built in the Shekhawati
style. The place was used to be a popular trade route 1200 years back. The city
is set against the vivid backdrop of Rajasthan where one can observe the rural
population at its colorful and charming best. On arrival check-in at the hotel.
Overnight: Hotel Day 06 - Kuchaman-Khimsar After breakfast
drive to Khimsar by surface. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Visit the Khimsar
fort, The Khimsar Fort is perched on the edge of the Thar Desert and was built
in the16th century by Rao Karamsi. Originally used for military purposes only,
the royal family set up residence within in the 18th century. Today, the fort
is partly occupied by Thakur Onkar Singh, the 17th direct descendant of Rao Karamsi.
One section of the fort and palace has been converted into a premier heritage
hotel. Evening Jeep Safari to sand dunes.. Overnight: Hotel Day
07 - Khimsar Morning at leisure. Later proceed for a Jeep and Camel
Safari into the sand dunes. Overnight: Hotel Day 08: Khimsar - Camp
Morning drive down to Manwar and check-in at the tented camps at Manwar.
Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight : Camp Day 09: Camp
This morning after breakfast at the Camp proceed for a camel safari in the
desert and experience tribal desert villages first hand. Dinner around the
campfire with musicians from the desert. Overnight : Camp Day 10:
Camp - Pushkar Morning drive down to Pushkar.. Arrive and check-in at
the hotel. Overnight: Hotel Day 11: Pushkar Visit Pushkar
Pushkar being one of the most religious places for Hindus has the atmosphere of
an ancient religious town.The only temple of God Brahma is in Pushkar thus making
Pushkar an important pilgrimage city for Hindus Afternoon visit Ajmer (Tomb
of a Sufi saint). Overnight: Hotel Day 12: Pushkar-Jaipur After
a leisurly breakfast we will proceed for Jaipur enroute visiting Amer Fort with
elephant ride.Amer Fort, the ancient capital of the State until 1728. Visit the
Jagmandir or the Hall of victory glittering with mirrors, Jai Mahal and Temple
of Kali. Ascend on Elephant back, the hill, on which the fort is situated. Rest
of the day at leisure. Overnight: Hotel Day 13: Jaipur Visit
Maharaja's City Palace and the Observatory. Drive past Hawa Mahal or the Palace
of Winds and through the rose-pink residential and business areas of Jaipur.
Explore the market at your own/ Visit Samode.. Overnight: Hotel Day
14: Jaipur-Delhi Morning at leisure. Afternoon we will proceed for
Delhi. On arrival at Delhi transfer to international airport to catch flight for
onward journey with sweet and unforgetteble memories of Rajasthan 'Tribal Tour'
