Day 01: Delhi
Begin your tour.
Arrive into Delhi.
Welcome to Vardhman's "Rajasthan Romantic Tour". On arrival
in Delhi, you will be met and transferred by Vardhman's representative
to your hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 02: Delhi
This morning after breakfast we will proceed for the sightseeing
of Delhi.
City tour of New & Old Delhi.
Later proceed on a tour of the city, which includes the main attraction
like Qutab Minar, Humayun's tomb, Lakshminarayan Temple, a modern
Hindu Temple, Parliament House, Government Secretarial Building and
Connaught place, the shopping centre of New Delhi.
Visit Red Fort, built in 1648 by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan, Jama Masjid,
one of the largest Mosque of India, Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana, the
cremation sites of Mahatama Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. Also drive
past Chandni Chowk, shopping centre of Old Delhi.

Day 03 Delhi - Udaipur (By flight)
After breakfast transfer to the Delhi airport to catch flight
for Udaipur. Upon arrival at Udaipur check into your hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 04 - Udaipur
After breakfast proceed on a City tour of Udaipur
Boat Cruise on Lake Pichola
Visit the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, drive around Fatehsagar Lake,
Sahelion ki Bari (Queen resort for her friends) and Bhartiya Lok
Kala Mandir (Folk Art Museum)
Boat curise on Lake Pichola 4km long and 3km broad, surrounded by
splendid hills, Palaces, temples bathing ghats and embankments.

Day 05 Udaipur - Jodhpur
This morning after breakfast drive to Jodhpur enroute visit
Ranakpur Temples.
Upon arrival at Jodhpur check into your hotel.

Day 06 Jodhpur - Jaisalmer (By train)
After breakfast proceed on a sightseeing of Jodhpur - gateway
to the desert beyond, home of the Rathores of Marwar, visit the
Mehrangarh Fort, rising up a hilly scarp, built on the advice of
a hermit, overlooking the city in the image of a long sentinel.
Inside the Fort are a number of palaces added by successive rulers.
In this palace you would see different miniature paintings &
cradle room. After this you would visit Jaswant Thada Memoria.Visit
the museum of UMAID BHAWAN PALACE and Mandore.
Evening transfer to the railway station to catch train for Jaisalmer.

Day 07 Jaisalmer
Arrive Jaisalmer early in the morning. Check-in at the hotel.
Later proceed for sightseeing of The Golden City - Jaisalmer. It
is in the heart of the Great Indian Desert. Its temple, fort and
palaces are all built of yellow stone. The city is a mass of intricately
carved buildings, facades and elaborate balconies. Visit the JAISALMER
FORT - The oldest living Fort in the world.
Afternoon visit Sam Dunes with camel ride.

Day 08 Jaisalmer - Khimsar
This morning after breakfast drive to Khimsar enroute visit
Osian. Ossian (58km) is also referred as an oasis in the desert.
Pay a visit to beautifully carved Jain temples of 11th century dedicated
to Lord Mahavira followed by a visit to Sun Temple, Kali temple
and the Sachiya Mata Temple. Mandore (8 km) see the cenotaphs of
Jodhpur rulers amidst the beautiful gardens. The walls of the cenotaphs
are festooned with 15 sculptures of Hindu deities tunneled out of
the hard rocks, a worth visiting sight.
Upon arrival at Khimsar check into your hotel.
Later enjoy Sun-set safari by jeep to Panchla Dunes with Tea.

Day 09 Khimsar - Jaipur
After breakfast drive to Jaipur enroute visit Ajmer/Pushkar.
Visit Ajmer
Dargah Sharif.Dargah is one of the most famous attractions of Ajmer.
It is located at the foot of a barren hill in the old part of the
town. This is India's most important pilgrimage center for people
of all faiths. Popularly known as Dargah Sharif, it is the tomb
of the Sufi saint Khwaja Moin-ud-din Chisti who came to Ajmer from
Persia in 1192. Mughal Emperor Humayun completed the construction
of the shrine and the Nizam of Hyderabad added its massive gate.
There are two mosques in the courtyard, one built by Akbar and the
other by Shah Jahan. The saint's tomb with a marble dome is in the
center of the second courtyard and is surrounded by a silver platform.
The shrine is next only to Mecca for the Muslims of south Asia.
The Urs Mela commemorating the death anniversary of the saint is
held here in the seventh month of the lunar calendar and attracts
a large number of Muslims from India and abroad. A colorful fair
that springs up during this time is the major attraction.The Dargah
is a must visit on your travel to Rajasthan.
Visit Pushkar
Pushkar happens to be the holiest places according to the Hindus
as it is considered that Lord Brahma (the Creator) and his wife
Saraswati (the godess of learning and music) performed a ritual
in the lake. Here we visit the only Brahma temple, before intermingling
with the local colours in the local bazaar.

Day 10 Jaipur
After breakfast, excursion to Amber Fort enroute witness the
façade of Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds which was built
in 1799. Amber Fort - The ancient capital of the state until 1727
when Jai Singh decided to move from his hillside fortress at Amber
to new site on the plains. The construction of this fort began in
1592 by Raja Man Singh, the Rajput commander of Akbars army.
The fort is a superb example of Rajput architecture, stunningly
situated on a hillside and overlooking a lake which reflects its
terraces and ramparts. Visit the Jagmandir or the hall of victory
glittering with mirrors, Jal Mahal & temple of Kali. Ascend
on elephant back, the hill, on which the fort is situated.Afternoon,
city tour of Jaipur. Visit the Jantar Mantar the observatory built
by Jai Singh in 1728; the City Palace which is a blend of Rajasthani
and Mughal architecture. It also has a museum with an extensive
collection of art, carpets, paintings, enamel ware and weapons dating
back to the 15th century.

Day 11 Jaipur - Agra
Today morning drive to Agra enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri. Upon
arrival at Agra check into your hotel.
Later proceed on a city tour of Agra.
Visit Taj Mahal (Closed on Monday & Friday), Red fort &
Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula. Later you will visit a marble gallery -
the flagship store in Agra which offers an excellant range of white
marble, fashionable wear & exotic wooden articles, truly a one
stop shop!

Day 12 Agra - Delhi
This morning after breakfast drive back to Delhi. On arrival transfer
to the Delhi airport /railway station to catch flight /train for your
onward destination with sweet and unforgettable memories of "Rajasthan
Romantic Tour" escorted by Vardhman Vacations.
