Day 01: NJP/Bagdogra-Gangtok
Begin your tour
Land New Jalpaiguri railway station OR Bagdogra airport
Welcome to your "Alpine Himalayan Tour"
Vardhman's representative
will meet & greet you & then drive straight to Gangtok- Sikkim's capital
sprawls over a forested hill that overlooks Mt. Khangchendzonga, guardian deity
of the land to the Sikkimese Buddhists. Reach Gangtok & check into your hotel.
Relax for the remaining part of the day.

Day
02: Gangtok
After a leisurely breakfast proceed for the excursion to Tshangu
Lake - situated at a height of 12400Ft in 3 hours one way, with an average depth
of 50 ft. The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty
around.
Later in the evening drive back to Gangtok for overnight rest in
the hotel.

Day 03: Gangtok-Lachung
This
morning after breakfast leave for Lachung (124 Kms/05 ½ hours drive). On
the way visit Tashi view point, Kabi Longtsok, Seven sister's water fall Singhik
view point.
Reach Lachung & check into your hotel for an overnight rest.

Day 04: Lachung -Yumthang-Lachung
Early
morning proceed on a half day excursion to Yumthang Valley (25 Kms / 1 ½
hours drive one way). On the way visit the Hot Spring and Singba Rhododendron
Sanctuary. Relax for the remaining part of the day.

Day 05: Lachung- Gangtok
On day 5 of your tour leave for Gangtok. On
the way, see Bhim Nala water fall & Twin water fall. Reach Gangtok & check
into your hotel.

Day 06: Gangtok-Pelling
Morning proceed for the half day sightseeing covering tourist places like
Rumtek Monastery, Droul Chorthen, Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate
of Handicraft & Handloom (Closed on every Sunday), Flower Show.
Later
in the afternoon you will leave for Pelling. Reach Pelling & check into your
hotel.

Day 07: Pelling
After breakfast
drive to Yuksom (35 Kms / 02 hours drive). On the way visit Darap Village, Rimbi
Water fall & Hydro Project, Khecheopalri Lake, it is one of the sacred Buddhist
mountain lake and it is believed that whatever is wished in front of the lake
comes true. Myth is that when a leaf falls on the placid clear water surface,
it is picked by a bird & Kanchanjunga Water fall. A further drive takes you
to Yuksom (the meeting place of three monks) - the first capital of Sikkim. This
was the place where the first Chogyal (a ruling dynasty in Sikkim) was crowned.
In the evening drive back to Pelling for your overnight rest in the hotel.

Day 08: Pelling-Darjeeling
Drive to Darjeeling-
fondly called "Queen of the Hills" (125 Kms/ 5 hours drive). Reach &
check into your hotel. Darjeeling, a Himalayan town in the Indian State of West
Bengal is internationally renowned as a tourist destination and also for its tea
industry and the Darjeeling Himalayan railway a UNSECO World Heritage site.

Day 09: Darjeeling
Early morning visit Tiger
Hills [8364 Ft] at around 4 AM to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject
to clear weather). On way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop. After breakfast
go for a half-day sight seeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu
Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on
Thursday), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed
on Sunday) & Tea Estate.
Late visit Rock Garden & Ganga Maya Lake.

Day 10: Darjeeling- NJP/Bagdogra
After
breakfast transfer to New Jalpaiguri railway station/Bagdogra airport to catch
train/flight for your onward destination with sweet and Pleasant memories of your
tour escorted by Vardhman Vacations.
