Day 01: NJP/Bagdogra-Darjeeling
Begin your tour
Land New Jalpaiguri railway station OR Bagdogra airport
Welcome to your "Sikkim Monasteries Tour"
Vardhman's representative
will meet & greet you & then drive straight to Darjeeling. Reach Darjeeling
& check into your hotel. Relax for the remaining part of the day.

Day 02: Darjeeling
Early in the morning explore Darjeeling.
Visit Tiger hills to view the beautiful sunrise followed by a visit to Ghoom Monastery.
Then return to your hotel for a hearty breakfast and later proceed for the city
tour. Visit Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological
Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tenzing &
Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & Tea Estate.

Day 03: Darjeeling- Pemayangste
On
day 3 of your tour leave for Pemayangste. On arrival, check into your hotel. Fresh
up & then proceed for the sightseeing of Pemayangste which would include visit
to Raptentse and Pemayangste Monastery.

04: Pemayangste- Yuksom
Morning drive to Yuksom (32kms). En-route to
Kanchenjunga Falls, Kenchodphelri Lake, Rimbi Falls.
Reach & check into
your hotel. At Yuksom, one can simply enjoy the scenic beauty of this beautiful
Himalayan hill village. You can also enjoy the walk around the Kartak Lake which
is just in front of the hotel. Tashi Gang Chorten is also worth viewing and indeed
a memorable experience .

Day 05: Yuksom-Gangtok
On day 5 of your tour drive to Gangtok. Enroute visit Ravangla. Reach &
check into your hotel for overnight rest.

06: Gangtok Sightseeing
Morning after breakfast prceed for the full day
sightseeing in and around Gangtok, covering Chortan, Stupa, Institute of Tibetology
and Institute of Handicrafts and Handlooms & Roomtek Monastery, the seat of
the Kagyupa sect of Buddhism.

Day 07: Gangtok
After a leisurely breakfast proceed for the excursion to Tshangu Lake - situated
at a height of 12400Ft in 3 hours one way, with an average depth of 50 ft. The
cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around.
In the evening enjoy some free time in the bustling colourful markets.

Day 08: Gangtok - NJP/Bagdogra
After breakfast transfer
to New Jalpaiguri railway station/Bagdogra airport to catch train/flight for your
onward destination with sweet and unforgettable memories of your tour escorted
