Day 01: Bhubaneshwar
Begin your tour
Land Bhubaneshwar airport
Welcome to your "Eastern Triangle Tour"
Vardhman's representative
will greet you & then transfer to your hotel. Relax for the remaining part
of the day.
Bhubaneshwar is the capital of Orissa. Besides being the capital
of ancient Kalinga, Bhubhaneshwar is known as Temple Town and Cathedral City on
account of its many temples in the extravagant Orissan style.

Day 02: Bhubaneshwar
After breakfast proceed for the sightseeing
tour of Bhubhaneshwar city. Visit Lingaraj temple, the Parsurameswar temple, the
Mukteswar temple and the Rajarani temples all bearing testimony to the magnificence
of Orissan architecture expressed through the sculptures and exteriors of the
temples famous for its hot sulphur springs and the Hatakeswar Temple and visit
to state museum house to see some of finest collections of paintings and palm
leaf etchings.
In the evening enjoy some free time in the bustling colourful
markets shopping for some exquisite Orissan handicrafts.

Day 03: Bhubaneshwar-Konark-Puri
After breakfast leave for Puri.
Enroute visit Konark - Renown for Sun Temple probably remains as the last remnant
of the glorious temples of Orissa an extant example of the architectural excellence
of the times. Built in the 13th Century, here a colossal image of the chariot
of the Sun, drawn by seven horses and 24 wheels symbolizes the divisions of time.
It also houses a Natamandira or dancing hall. Only two subsidiary temples out
of the 22 exist today.
Continue drive to Puri. On arrival, transfer to your
hotel. In the evening, attend prayer at the temples and exploring beaches.

Day 04: Puri
This morning after breakfast
proceed for the tour of Puri, this city by the sea is one of the four main Hindu
pilgrim centers in India and is famous for its Jagannath temple. Millions of devotees
flock to this holy place every year to participate in the Rath Yatra or "Car
festival", take a visit to the famous Jagannath Temple, enjoy a stroll through
the temple bustling bazaar and visit the main temple complex.
The rest of
the afternoon is free for shopping or for relaxing on beach.

Day 05: Puri -Bhubaneshwar to Bagdogra [by flight via Kolkata]-Gangtok
After breakfast drive to Bhubhaneshwar airport to board flight for Bagdogra.
Upon arrival at Bagdogra airport, Vardhman's representative will greet you &
then drive straight to Gangtok. Reach Gangtok & check into your hotel. Relax
for the remaining part of the day. Later day is free for individual activities
and exploring the town.

Day 06: Gangtok
After
a leisurely breakfast proceed for the excursion to Tshangu Lake - situated at
a height of 12400Ft in 3 hours one way, with an average depth of 50 ft. The cool
water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around.
Later
in the evening drive back to Gangtok for overnight rest in the hotel.

Day 07: Gangtok-Kalimpong
On day 3 of your tour proceed
for the half day sightseeing covering Rumtek Monastery, Droul Chorthen, Research
Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom & Enchey
Monastery. Afternoon drive to Kalimpong. Reach & check into your hotel for
overnight rest.

Day 08: Kalimpong-Darjeeling
Today after breakfast visit Dello hills, Dr. Graham's Home, Flower Nurseries,
Jang-Dong-Palriffo Brang and Durbin Dara Hills. Later drive towards Darjeeling.
Reach & check into your hotel. Relax for the remaining part of the day.

Day 09: Darjeeling
Early morning visit Tiger
Hills, 8364 Ft at around 4 AM, to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject
to clear weather). On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop. After
breakfast go for a half-day sight seeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja
Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed
on every Thursday), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center
(Closed on every Sunday) & Tea Estate.
Afternoon visit Rock Garden &
Ganga Maya Lake.

Day 10: Darjeeling- NJP/Bagdogra
After breakfast transfer to New Jalpaiguri railway station/Bagdogra airport
to catch train/flight for your onward destination with sweet and unforgettable
memories of your tour escorted by Vardhman Vacations.
