Land Cochin airport/railway station
Welcome to Vardhman's "Kerala Beach & Backwater tour"
Vardhman's representative will meet & greet you & then will transfer you to your hotel. Relax for the remaining part of the day.
OPTIONAL Activity: Attend Kathkali Dance Show in the evening.

Day 2: Cochin City tour
On the day second of your tour proceed on a city tour of Cochin.
Visit the Dutch Palace, the Jewish Synagogue, the Church of St. Francis, the Bolghatty Palace & the famous Chinese fishing nets. Afternoon, Harbour cruise - Cochin has one of the finest natural harbours.

Day 3: Cochin

Day 4: Cochin -Athirapally and Vazhachal Waterfalls (55 Kms) - Cochin
This morning after breakfast proceed to visit Athirappally and Vazhachal Waterfalls.
Athirappally Waterfalls is located 78 kms from Kochi (Cochin), located at the entrance to Sholayar ranges, this waterfall is a popular picnic spot. Affording to the onlookers, one of the most bewitching sights, Athirappally Falls is about 80 feet high and located in the forest area. Combined with the greenery, it infuses freshness into any tired soul. The Athirapally Falls join the Chalakkudy River after plummeting a drop of 80 feet.
Vazhachal Waterfalls: The Vazhachal waterfall is a scenic and popular waterfall on the edge of the Sholayar forest range in Kerala. The Vazhachal is part of the Chalakkudy River. Its cool, misty waters cascading down with the backdrop of thick green forest and rocky terrain are a scintillating experience for visitors.
In the evening drive back to Cochin and check into your hotel for an overnight rest.

Day 7: Cochin- Kumarakom (40 Kms)
This morning after breakfast drive to Kumarakom. Reach and check into your hotel.

Day 8: Kumarakom
On day 8 of your tour proceed on a half day city tour of Kumarakom.
Visit Churches, Kumarakom bird Sanctuary, and Aruvikkuzhi Waterfalls (18 Kms from Kottayam).
Rest of the day free to explore the city at your own.

Day 9: Kumarakom
On day 9 of your tour proceed on a half day city tour of Kumarakom Ettumanoor Temple
A famous Hindu pilgrimage, Ettumanoor Temple is known for its unique and original architecture, wooden carvings and murals. The one that truly deserves a special mention is a statue of Shiva as Nataraja in a stunning pose. The temple is also famous for its 10 day long annual festival held during February-March.
Grampi Hill
A great place to relax and unwind, the Grampi hill station is a beautiful place to visit and rest in nature's lap.
Ilaveezhapoonchira
A beautiful picnic spot located at a distance of 55 kilometers from Kottayam, Ilaveezhapoonchira is situated among beautiful hills and is stunningly beautiful.
Peerumedu
A small hill station located at a height of 914 meters above sea level, Peerumedu derives its name from the famous Sufi saint, Peer Mohammad.

Day 11: Kumarakom -Alleppey Round backwater trip (65 kms)
This morning after breakfast drive to Alleppey/Alappuzha-Known as "Venice of East". Check into your houseboat upon arrival. Cruise through the Backwater drive to sight seeing, by noon cruise through paddyfields, coconut lagoons, narrow canals and coir village...etc, a round about tour, in which the cruise takes you through the clear waters of the prominent Punnamada Lake, the Nehru Trophy snake boat race. It is the best way to experience Kerala village life and the exotic beauty of Kerala, after spending the night at the romantic Vattakayal Lake overnight stay at houseboat.

Day 12: Alleppey- Cochin (56 kms)
The houseboat comes to halt at Alleppey. Disembark the houseboat after a leisurely breakfast and then drive back to Cochin. Reach and check into your hotel. Relax for the remaining part of the day.

Day 13: Cochin
