Day 1: Cochin
Begin your tour
Land Cochin railway station/airport
Welcome to your "Romantic Kerala
Trip"
Vardhman's representative will meet & greet you & then
will transfer you to your hotel. Relax for the remaining part of the day.
OPTIONAL Activity: Attend Kathkali Dance Show in the evening.

Day 2: Cochin
This morning after breakfast,
proceed on a city tour of Cochin. Cochin - the palmgreen commercial town of Kerala
has one of the finest natural harbours in the world.
The Chinese fishing nets
can be seen at the entrance of the harbour. The Chinese through trade contact
taught this technique of catching fish. Visit the Dutch palace, Jewish Synagogue,
Chinese fishing nets, St. Francis Church and the Santa Cruz Church. Also visit
the Hill Palace Museum which displays articles of archeological importance

Day 3: Cochin - Munnar
This morning drive
to Munnar (135 kms/04½ hrs) enroute visit tea plantations. On arrival in
Munnar, check in at hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 04: Munnar
City tour of Munnar
Visit Eravikulam National
Park to see rare mountain goats locally called the Nilgiri Tahr, Old Munnar Town,
Dairy Farm and the Mattupetty Dam. Enjoy the rest of the day on your own.

Day 5: Munnar - Alleppey backwaters
Morning
after breakfast check out from hotel and check in at the house boat for the direction
to Alleppey enroute sightseeing on the bank of the backwaters. The overnight cruise
will take you through Alleppey Backwaters. Staying in this moving palace is breathtakingly
stimulating experience. While sailing down a maze of canals one sees different
scenes from the villages, paddy fields, coconut palms, fisherman and local life.
Lunch, dinner next day breakfast and tea snacks will be provided in the boat.
The cool breeze from the Lake make you sleep early in the night after anchoring
in a fancy place. Breakfast, lunch and Candle light dinner included.

Day 6: Alleppey - Kovalam
The houseboat comes to
a halt at Alleppey today morning after breakfast. Proceed to Kovalam and transfer
to beach resort on arrival. Day free to relax at the golden beach or Indulge in
Ayurvedic message.
Overnight: Hotel
Day 7: Kovalam-Trivandrum
Morning proceed for the sight seeing of Thiruvananthapuram/Trivandrum covering
Museum complex, Padmanabha Swamy Temple, Science & Technology museum, Veli
Tourist village, Aakulam boat club, Shangmugham Beach after breakfast. Return
to Kovalam to stay overnight. With this tour to the wonderful cities of Kerala,
you would be able to explore Kerala to fullest.
Later in the evening
transfer to Trivandrum airport/railway station to catch flight/train for your
onward destination with sweet and unforgettable memories of "Romantic Kerala
Trip'' escorted by Vardhman Vacations.
