Day 01: Chennai
Begin
your tour
Land Chennai airport/railway station
Welcome to your "Short
Escape to South India"
Vardhman's representative will meet & greet
you & then will transfer you to your hotel. Relax for the remaining part of
the day.

Day 02: Chennai-Madurai by Overnight
train
Morning after breakfast proceed for the sightseeing.
Visit museum
to see the Art and Bronze Gallery. (Closed on Fridays and Public holidays). Drive
through the Flower and Fruit market, High court, Fort Museum, Marina Beach, San
Thome Cathedral and Snake Park.
In the evening transfer to Tambaram railway
station to board +PANDIAN EXP train number 2637 at 2210 hrs.

Day 03: Madurai
Reach Madurai Junction railway
station at 0645hrs and you will be met and then transferred to your hotel by our
representative. Freshen up and then proceed on a city tour of Madurai.
Visit
the great Meenakshi Temple dedicated to the consort of Lord Shiva with its towering
gopurams - (rising high above the surrounding countryside). Later, visit the Tirumala
Nayak Palace - a gracious building in the Indo-Saracenic style, famous for the
stucco work on its domes and arches.

Day 04:
Madurai-Kodaikanal-Madurai to Coimbatore by overnight train
This morning
proceed on an excursion of Kodaikanal.
Visit Kodaikanal lake, Kurinji Andavar
Temple, Coaker's Walk, Bryant Park.
In the evening transfer to Madurai Junction
railway station to board 6609 COIMBATORE EXP train at 0040hrs.

Day 05: Coimbatore - Ooty
Reach Coimbatore
Junction railway station at 0730hrs and you will be met by our representative
and then drive directly to Ooty. Freshen up and then proceed on a city tour of
Ooty. Visit the lake, Botanical Gardens, Conoor Tea Gardens, Sim's Park, and Dolphin's
Nose. Later visit Film shooting points & other points of interest or shopping
etc.

Day 06: Ooty-Mysore
This morning
drive to Mysore and transfer to hotel.
Visit Vrindavan Garden Like Mughal
Pattern, Vrindavan Garden is built step by step below the dam. Fountain, Flower
beds, topiary-all have made the environment beautiful and romantic. In the evening
the garden is illuminated and it looks more beautiful and also the fountains of
the garden are operated rhythmically with music.

Day 07: Mysore- Bangalore
On day 7 of your programme proceed for city
tour of Mysore.
Visit Maharaja Palace and later in the day drive to Chamundi
Hill and see the huge Nandi Bull statue, St. Philomena's Church & Mysore Zoo.
Later drive to Bangalore. Reach Bangalore and check into your hotel for an
overnight rest.

Day 08: Bangalore
This
morning after breakfast proceed to visit the sightseeing of Bangalore.
Visit
the Lal Bagh with a variety of old trees, fountains, lotus pools, terraces &
an assortment of tropical and sub-tropical herbs. Also see the Maharaja's Palace
&
Government Buildings.
Later in the afternoon transfer
to Bangalore airport to board the flight for Delhi, back home with sweet and unforgettable
