Day 01: Leh

Land Leh airport
Welcome to Vardhman's "Ladakh Panorama Tour"
Vardhman's representative will meet & greet you & then transfer you to
your hotel. Complete day for rest and leisure to acclimatize. In the evening visit
to Leh Market & Shanti Stupa.

Day 02: Leh
- Uleytokpo
This morning after breakfast drive towards Leh - Kargil highway
to Lamayuru enroute visiting Kali Mata Temple, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib Nestled
deep in the Himalayas, which was built by the Lamas of Leh in 1517 to commemorate
the visit of Guru Nanak Dev. A drive of another 4 km took us to Magnetic Hill
which defies the law of gravity. It has been noticed that when a vehicle is parked
on neutral gear on this metallic road the vehicle slides up & further Driving
through a picturesque landscape reached the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar
river 4 km before Nimmu village, and later visit Likir gompa situated atop a windy
cliff top overlooking the beautiful village of Likir. Basgo is certainly the most
impressive of Ladakhi citadels despite its ruined state. Then drive and cross
the River Indus and reach Alchi, Ladakh's most loved monastery. After visiting
above monasteries drive to Uleytokpo. Reach & check-In at your Camp.

Day 03: Uleytokpo - Lamayuru - Leh
After a leisurely
breakfast proceed to visit Lamayuru, belongs to Dripung Kagyu (Red Hat) like Phyang.
After visiting Lamayuru drive back to Leh enroute visiting Rizong Gompa, known
as the paradise for Meditation. After Ridzong visit drive back to Leh and check
in at our hotel for overnight rest.

Day 04: Leh
- Pangong Lake
After an early breakfast leave for Pangong Lake enroute
visiting Shey Palace, The ancient capital of Ladakh & Thiksey an impressive
complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village and carryon further
towards Pangong through Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000
feet (4,267 m). A long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometer
at its widest point and over 130km long, it is bisected by the international border
beten India and China. A few years back the government decided to open it to tourists
though the lake and its surrounding is under army surveillance.
Enjoy the
landscape in the back drop of the Lake. One rarely feels so close to nature and
environment and the scenery i s unforgettable.

Day 05: Pangong Lake - Leh
Morning at leisure to explore the beauty
of lake and later drive back to leh enroute visiti ng Hemis Gompa, the largest
monastic foundation of Drukpa Kagyu Order of Tibetan Buddhism. Drive further to
Leh and check -In at the hotel for overnight rest.

Day 06: Leh
After breakfast drive to Khardung la, the highest motorable
road in the world at 18,390 feet is around 39 Kms away from Leh. The views from
the top of the pass are amazing. Return to the hotel for hot lunch. Afternoon
at leisure for last day shopping.

Day 07: Leh
This morning transfer to Leh airport to board flight for your onward
destination with sweet and unforgettable memories of your tour escorted by Vardhman
Vacations.
