Land Delhi railway station/airport
Welcome to Vardhman's "Essence of India with Tiger"
Vardhman's representative will meet & greet you & then transfer you to your hotel. Relax for the remaining part of the day.
OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: In the evening take a visit to Akshardham Temple [Closed on every Monday].

Day 2: Delhi
This morning after a leisurely breakfast proceed for the sightseeing.
Visit Qutab Minar, Humayun's tomb, Lakshminarayan Temple, a modern Hindu Temple, Parliament House, Government Secretarial Building and Connaught place, the shopping centre of New Delhi.
OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: Attend Sound & light show at Red Fort in the evening.

Day 3: Delhi - Jaipur
This morning after breakfast drive to the Pink City- Jaipur and transfer to hotel. Relax for the remaining part of the day.

Day 4: Jaipur - Ranthambore
Morning city tour of Jaipur. Visit the Jagmandir or the Hall of victory glittering with mirrors, Maharaja's City Palace and the Observatory - The Solar , The City Palace, Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds.
Then drive to Ranthambore. Upon arrival check into your hotel for overnight rest.

Day 5: Ranthambore
Full day exploration in Ranthambhore National Park.
OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: You can enjoy Elephant Safari, Van/Jeep Safari.

Full day exploration in Ranthambhore National Park.

Day 7: Ranthambore - Bharatpur
Drive to Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. On arrival, check into your hotel. Later visit the Bird Sanctuary.

Day 8: Bharatpur - Fatehpur Sikri-Agra
This morning following a leisurely breakfast drive to Fatehpur Sikri. Visit Fatehpur Sikri
This abandoned capital of the Mughals is a perfectly preserved city at the height of the empire's splendor. The city divided into religious and secular parts has interesting well-sculpted buildings.
Upon arrival in Agra, check in to your hotel. Relax for rest of the day.

Day 9: Agra - Umaria
Early in the morning visit Taj Mahal (Closed on Friday) during sunrise and return to the hotel for breakfast. Later visit Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula & the massive Agra Fort. The elegant buildings inside reflect an interesting synthesis of Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles. The maze of the courtyards, mosques & private chambers of the fort echo the story of the Mughal Empire. The Moti Masjid & other magnificent buildings reflect the skill of the ancient Indian architects. Later you will visit a marble gallery - the flagship store in Agra which offers an excellent range of white marble, fashionable wear & exotic wooden articles, truly a one stop shop!
In the evening transfer to Agra cantt railway station to catch overnight train for UMARIA.

Day 10: Umaria -Bandhavgarh
Reach UMARIA in the morning and you will be directly drive to bandavgarh and transfer to hotel by our representative.
Bandavgarh is justifiably famous for its Tigers, but it has a wide range of other game. The undergrowth is not as dense as in some northern terai forests, but the best time to see the park inhabitants is still the summer months when water becomes more scarce and the undergrowth dies back. A full day game viewing inside the jungle.

Day 11: Bandhavgarh
Full day free to explore Bandhavgarh National park.

Later go for a trip to the Bandavgarh Fort: The oldest fort in India - considered to be more than 2500 years. One-hour trek up the fort is worth the effort. The charm of this trek lies in discovering these monuments in the jungle, unspoiled and unexplored. Some of the statues lie off the main path and so it is best to take a guide. Apart from the avatars, well worth seeing are three small temples of around the 12th century.

Full day free to explore Bandhavgarh National park.

Day 13: Bandhavgarh-Kanha
After breakfast drive to Kanha. This is the place that has been described by RUDYARD KIPLING in his great book "The Jungle Book". Located in the Mandla district of Madhya Pradesh, Kanha National Park is a tiger reserve that extends over an area of over 940 square km. A horseshoe shaped valley bounded by the spurs of the Mekal presents an interesting topography. Steep rocky escarpments along the edges offer breathtaking views of the valley. Realizing the danger on the Tiger population in the country, the Government started the "Project Tiger" at Kanha and in 1974 the area was declared a Tiger reserve. The park is also the habitat of the high ground Barasingha.

Day 15: Kanha - Jabalpur -Delhi
Morning at leisure. In the afternoon transfer to Jabalpur Railway station to take overnight train to Delhi.

Day 16: Delhi
Arrive at Delhi Railway Station and you will be transferred by our representative to Delhi International airport to board the flight for your onward journey to back home with sweet and unforgettable memories of "Essence of India with Tiger Tour" escorted by Vardhman Vacations.
