Your itinerary day by day Friday: Delhi-Agra by train Begin your tour Welcome to Vardhman's "Taj Mahal with Bharatpur" In the afternoon transfer to New Delhi railway station [at your own] to board Bhopal Shatabdi Train number 22002 at 0615 hrs. Breakfast on board this train. Land Agra Cantt railway station at 0812 hrs. Vardhman's representative will meet you & then transfer to your hotel. Reach & check into your hotel. Visit Red fort & Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula. Later you will visit a marble gallery - the flagship store in Agra which offers an excellent range of white marble, fashionable wear & exotic wooden articles, truly a one stop shop! Overnight: Hotel Saturday: Agra-Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary Early in the morning visit Taj Mahal (closed on every Friday) during Sunrise. Return to the hotel after breakfast and then drive to Bharatpur. Keoladeo National Park or Keoladeo Ghana National Park formerly known as the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary in Rajasthan, India is a famous avifauna sanctuary that sees (or saw) thousands of rare and highly endangered birds such as the Siberian Crane come here during the winter season. The sanctuary was created 250 years ago and is named after a Keoladeo (Shiva) temple within its boundaries. Initially, it was a natural depression; and was flooded after the Ajan Bund was constructed by Maharaja Suraj Mal, the then ruler of the princely state of Bharatpur, from 1726 to 1763. The bund was created at the confluence of two rivers, the Gambhir and Banganga. Later drive back to Delhi.
