9 Days Tour of Jiuzhai Valley Itinerary

Day 1: Singapore – Chengdu

Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your scheduled flight to Chengdu, the vibrant capital of China’s Sichuan province.

For travelers on a midnight flight, a complimentary milk and snack will be provided for your comfort.

Day 2: Chengdu – Jiuzhaigou

After breakfast, board a high-speed train to Jiuzhaigou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its enchanting natural beauty. Enjoy the scenic landscapes along the journey.

Upon arrival, indulge in a relaxing high-tea experience at the luxurious Hilton Jiuzhaigou Hotel. In the evening, savor a lavish buffet dinner at the hotel.

Note: During peak travel seasons, if high-speed train service is unavailable or tickets are sold out, the journey to Jiuzhaigou will be made by coach.

Day 3: Full-Day Exploration of Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area

Today, immerse yourself in the magical landscapes of the Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area (includes scenic shuttle service). Nestled within the Minshan Mountains, this 40-kilometer-long valley derives its name from the nine Tibetan villages scattered throughout the area. Often described as a “fairyland” and “paradise on earth,” Jiuzhaigou is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Marvel at the breathtaking natural beauty featuring crystal-clear highland lakes, cascading waterfalls, snow-capped peaks, and untouched forests. The ever-changing colors of the water, lush woodlands, and the vibrant Tibetan culture make Jiuzhaigou a destination of “Five World Wonders.”

Note: During peak seasons, the shuttle bus waiting time within the scenic area may range from 1 to 2 hours.

Day 4: Jiuzhaigou – Huanglong – Chengdu

After breakfast, journey to the breathtaking Huanglong Scenic Area, known for its vibrant terraced limestone pools, snow-capped mountains, deep valleys, and untouched forests. The area derives its name, which means “Yellow Dragon,” from the landscape’s resemblance to a golden dragon winding through the mountains.

Your visit includes a one-way cable car ride and electric tram, offering a comfortable and scenic ascent through this natural wonderland.

After exploring Huanglong, board a high-speed train back to Chengdu, where you’ll settle in for a relaxing evening.

• • If the cable car and sightseeing tram are suspended due to maintenance, a refund of RMB 100 per person will be provided.
  • In case the Huanglong Scenic Area is closed, it will be replaced with a visit to Mounigou Scenic Area.

Day 5: Chengdu – Leshan – Emeishan

After breakfast, head to Leshan to experience one of China’s most iconic landmarks — the Leshan Giant Buddha. Day 6: Full-Day Exploration of Mount Emei

Day 7: Emeishan – Chengdu

After breakfast, return to Chengdu and visit the renowned Giant Panda Breeding & Research Base (includes electric tram service). Here, you’ll encounter China’s beloved national treasure — the Giant Panda — in a lush, natural habitat designed for conservation. Watch these playful creatures nap in trees, tumble on grassy hills, or interact in their enclosures. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of panda cubs at play!

For lunch, enjoy a flavorful and authentic wild mushroom hotpot, a regional specialty packed with rich, earthy aromas.

Afterwards, step back in time with a stroll through Jinli Ancient Street, one of Chengdu’s most iconic pedestrian streets. With an MRT station nearby, getting around the city is easy and convenient. You might choose to explore other cultural or culinary highlights of Chengdu, or simply relax and enjoy local Sichuan cuisine and street snacks at your own leisure (at personal expense).

Whether you’re indulging in retail therapy, discovering local delicacies, or taking in the modern vibe of the city, today offers the perfect blend of comfort and exploration.

Day 9: Chengdu – Return to Singapore

After breakfast, take a final stroll through Kuan Zhai Alley, one of Chengdu’s most charming and culturally rich neighborhoods. The area is made up of Kuan Alley (Wide Alley), Zhai Alley (Narrow Alley), and Jing Alley, along with well-preserved Qing Dynasty residences. It’s the perfect place to soak in the old-world ambiance, explore boutique shops, or pick up some last-minute souvenirs.

At the designated time, transfer to the airport for your flight back to Singapore, bringing home unforgettable memories of Sichuan’s natural beauty, cultural treasures, and culinary delights.
