Upon arrival at Varanasi Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. After a brief introduction, enjoy a comfortable transfer to your hotel for check-in and freshening up.
In the evening, experience the spiritual essence of Varanasi with a peaceful boat ride on the sacred Ganges River during sunset. Witness the serene beauty of the ghats as the city prepares for the evening rituals. Later, attend the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat – a soul-stirring ceremony of lights, chants, and incense that captures the spiritual vibrance of this holy city.

Begin your day with a spiritual excursion to Sarnath, one of the most revered Buddhist sites where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment. Explore key landmarks such as the Dhamek Stupa, Mulgandha Kuti Vihar, and the Chaukhandi Stupa, each echoing centuries of Buddhist heritage and teachings. Visit the Sarnath Museum (optional) to see an impressive collection of Buddhist artifacts and the famous Ashokan Lion Capital.
After lunch, depart for Bodhgaya – the holiest site in Buddhism and the place where Siddhartha Gautama attained enlightenment under the Bodhi Tree. The journey offers a scenic drive through the heartland of Bihar.
Overnight: Bodhgaya
After an early breakfast, embark on a morning drive to Rajgir (approx. 2.5 hours), an important site in Buddhist history and a favored retreat of Lord Buddha during the rainy seasons.
Activities: Explore Venuvan, the tranquil bamboo grove gifted to Buddha by King Bimbisara. Continue to the sacred Vulture Peak (Gridhakuta Hills), where Buddha delivered several significant sermons. Also visit the Bhimbisar Jail, where the imprisoned king could still view Buddha meditating on the nearby hills.
Afternoon: Proceed to Nalanda, home to one of the world’s oldest residential universities and a renowned center of learning in ancient times. Walk through the atmospheric ruins of Nalanda University, where thousands of monks once studied, and visit the Nalanda Archaeological Museum, which houses rare manuscripts, sculptures, and artifacts.
Evening: Return to Bodhgaya by evening.

Begin your day with an early morning departure from Bodhgaya to Vaishali (approx. 5–6 hours). Vaishali holds great significance in Buddhist history as the site where Buddha delivered his last sermon and announced his impending Mahaparinirvana.
Activities in Vaishali: Upon arrival, explore the Ashoka Pillar, crowned with a single lion and still standing tall as a symbol of Emperor Ashoka’s devotion to Buddhism. Visit the Ananda Stupa, built in memory of Ananda, Buddha's beloved disciple, and the Buddha Relic Stupa, which houses the relics of the Enlightened One.
Afternoon: After the sightseeing tour in Vaishali, continue your journey to Kushinagar (approx. 5–6 hours), the sacred place where Lord Buddha attained Mahaparinirvana (final nirvana).
Evening: Arrive in Kushinagar and check in at your hotel. The evening is free for rest or a quiet stroll in this serene town.
Overnight: Kushinagar
After breakfast, depart from Kushinagar and proceed towards Lumbini (approx. 5–6 hours drive, including border formalities at the India-Nepal border). Lumbini, located in Nepal, is the revered birthplace of Lord Buddha, and a major pilgrimage site for Buddhists around the world.
Border Crossing: Complete immigration and customs formalities at the Sunauli border before entering Nepal. Assistance will be provided during the transition.
Evening: Arrive in Lumbini and check in at your hotel. The rest of the evening is at leisure to relax or take a short walk near the hotel surroundings.

After breakfast, begin your exploration of Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Visit the Maya Devi Temple, which marks the exact spot where Queen Maya Devi gave birth to Siddhartha Gautama. Explore the Sacred Garden, Ashoka Pillar, and the ruins of ancient monasteries that create a serene and reflective atmosphere.
Take a walk through the Monastic Zone, where various countries have built beautiful monasteries reflecting their native architectural styles, such as the Thai Monastery, Myanmar Golden Temple, and German Monastery.
Travel: After lunch, begin your return journey to Bodhgaya (approx. 8–9 hours drive including border crossing). Assistance will be provided at the Sunauli border while re-entering India.
Evening: Arrive in Bodhgaya and check in at your hotel.

Today is dedicated to exploring the spiritual heart of Bodhgaya, where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment under the Bodhi Tree. Begin your day with a visit to the revered Mahabodhi Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a centerpiece of Buddhist devotion.
Spend quiet moments near the Bodhi Tree, a descendant of the original tree under which Buddha meditated. Continue your exploration with a visit to the Great Buddha Statue, an iconic 80-foot image symbolizing peace and inner strength. Then proceed to the Dungeshwari (Dungesri) Cave Temples, where Buddha practiced severe asceticism before choosing the Middle Path. Also visit the Sujata Stupa, dedicated to Sujata, the village girl who offered food to Buddha, marking the end of his extreme fasting.
Evening: Enjoy free time for personal meditation at the temple complex or explore the vibrant international monasteries built by countries like Thailand, Bhutan, Japan, and Vietnam.
Overnight: Bodhgaya
Enjoy a peaceful morning at leisure. You may choose to revisit the Mahabodhi Temple for a final meditation session or take a quiet stroll through the temple complex to soak in the spiritual ambiance one last time. Alternatively, spend time exploring nearby monasteries or shopping for spiritual souvenirs.
Departure: Later, you will be transferred to Gaya Airport for your onward journey, carrying with you the serene memories and spiritual insights gained during this sacred pilgrimage.
