Delhi- Jaipur - Agra – Delhi - Amritsar
India’s golden triangle is a tourist circuit which includes: Delhi, Agra (including the Taj Mahal), and Jaipur. These trips usually 7 days and do the trip as a circuit starting and ending in Delhi. The Golden Triangle is now a well travelled route, hosting many of India’s great cultural gems, and providing a good spectrum of the country’s different landscapes.
The Golden Triangle is so called because of the triangular shape formed by the locations of New Delhi, Agra and Rajasthan on a map, but is occasionally expanded to include the wider geographical area of North India, most frequented by tourists. Most tourists fly from Delhi, travel southwards to the site of the famous Taj Mahal at Agra, then west, to the desert landscapes of Rajasthan, including the city of Jaipur.
Our special package includes a trip to Amritsar, where you can visit the famous Golden Temple. Experience peace and spirituality as you watch the captivating rituals and enjoy the serene atmosphere of this sacred place. You can see the Jallianwala Bagh, a place that reminds us of a sad event in Indian history. On April 13, 1919, British and Gurkha soldiers shot at a group of unarmed people there, and many innocent lives were lost. Also, near Amritsar, at the Wagah Border, you can watch the Flag Retreat Ceremony. This ceremony happens every evening and includes military drills, patriotism, and national pride.
