Combined city tour of New Delhi & Old Delhi
Visit Qutab Minar, Humayun's tomb, Lakshminarayan Temple, a modern Hindu Temple, Parliament House, Government Secretarial Building and Connaught place, the shopping centre of New Delhi.
Visit Red Fort, built in 1648 by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan, Jama Masjid, one of the largest Mosque of India, Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana, the cremation sites of Mahatama Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. Also drive past Chandni Chowk, shopping centre of Old Delhi.

City tour of Alwar
The city of Alwar was built by the Kachawa Rajput of Macheri - Rao Pratap Singh in 1775. For a brief while the Marathas as well as the British took possession of Alwar. In the year 1949, Alwar was amalgamated with the state of Rajasthan.
The principal attraction of Alwar is the city Palace which is known as Vinay Vilas in the local parlance. This magnificent palace was built in 1840 and is located in a triangular hill top. The palace is 300 m high. The architecture of the palace is distinctly Mughal and the palace is replete with buildings, monuments, museums and shimmering lakes
There is a museum inside the palace and on display at the museum are authentic miniature paintings, rare manuscripts, ivory items, and a rich collection of weapons. The museum also has in its possession 700 rare manuscripts in Hindi, Sanskrit, Arabic and Persian language. The 24 m Bhagavat and Arabic Koran are some of the museums priceless artifacts and national treasures.
Also on display at the museum is the replica of Sheikh Shadi's Gulistan copy which is simply marvelous. Another priceless item of the museum is the biography of Babur - "Baburnama". The museum also has a fine collection of royal armories, of particular significance are the swords of Shah Abbas, Akbar, Jehangir, Shah Jahan, Dara Shikoh, Nadir Shah and Aurangzeb.
Other places worth visiting in Alwar is the Gunijankhana which has a fine collection of paintings. Maharaj Bhaktiyar's cemetry and the cemetry of Shah Jahan's minister Fateh Jung are also worth visiting. There is also the Puranjan Bihar or the Summer Retreat of Alwar's royalty which exude with the glorious legacy of Alwar's past rulers.
On the outskirts of Alwar is the magnificent Vijay Mandir Palace, which was built way back in 1918. The palace is located in a rather picturesque setting on the banks of the shimmering Vijay Sagar Lake. There are 105 grandiose rooms in all at the palace and members of the royal family still live in this majestic palace. One has to seek prior permission from the authorities to enter inside the palace

Elephant Safari
This morning you will experience the wonders of this magicial pink city, as you proceed on a tour of Amber fort (optional: Elephant Safari/Price not included). Later visit the Jagmandir or the Hall of victory glitterning with mirrors, Maharaja's City Palace and the Observatory. Drive past Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds and through the rose pink residential and business areas of Jaipur.

Today you drive to the former capital city of Emperor Akbar
Your exciting day begins with a tour, starting with a visit to Fatehpur Sikri. Then continue onward to Agra and check into your hotel.

On arrival, you will proceed on a city tour of Taj. Visit Taj Mahal, Red fort & Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula. Later you will visit a marble gallery - the flagship store in Agra which offers an excellant range of white marble, fashionable wear & exotic wooden articles, truly a one stop shop!
Optional: Later in the evening why not take the option of watching Sound & Light show. Later return to your hotel for a good night rest.

Today in-time transfer to Agra Railway Station.
0825 hrs. - Leave for Jhansi by Shatabdi train.
1100 hrs. - Arrive Jhansi and drive to Khajuraho enroute visit Orcha.
On to Khajuraho.

Proceed for city sightseeing after breakfast.
Visit the world famous Khajuraho temples were built by the Chandela kings between 950 AD and 1050 AD. The most important are the Chaunset Yogini Temple dedicated to Goddess Kali, The Mahadev Temple, Chitragupta or Bharatji Temple with a lovely image of 11 headed Vishnu, Vishvanath and Nandi Temples, Lakshmana Temple, Visha Temple of Shiva, which is the largest & most typical of temples.

Boat Cruise on River Ganges
Early morning boat excursion on the holy river Ganges to see the bathing ghats and cremation site. Watching people bathing and worshipping at the ghats is one of the most extraordinary experiences of a visit to India.
Half day city tour of Varanasi
Sightseeing tour of the City visiting the Bharat Mata Temple with a big relief map of India in Marble, Durga Temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir, Banaras Hindu University, which has an art gallery and the mosque of Moghul Emperor Aurangazeb, built on the site of an ancient Hindu Temple.

Tour of Sarnath, the buried Buddhist city where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon, Sarnath was a renewed school of learning from 6th Century B.C. to 12th Century A.D. Visit the ruins, the stupa, the Buddhist Temple and the Museum.
