Lucknow – Nepalgunj – Simikot – Hilsa – Taklakot – Manasarovar – Darchen – Dirapuk – Zuthulpuk
Embark on a spiritually enriching journey to one of the holiest and most powerful pilgrimage destinations in the world — Mount Kailash and Lake Manasarovar. The Asthapad Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is a sacred expedition that combines devotion, adventure, and the quest for inner peace. Situated in Tibet’s remote region, Mount Kailash (6,638 m) is revered by Hindus, Jains, Buddhists, and Bon followers alike, symbolizing the abode of Lord Shiva and the center of spiritual energy.
This divine journey not only takes you to Lake Manasarovar (4,550 m) — known for its crystal-clear waters and spiritual aura — but also to the sacred Asthapad, believed to be the place where Rishabhdev, the first Jain Tirthankara, attained Nirvana. The yatra includes scenic flights, helicopter rides, and challenging treks, making it both an adventurous and transformative experience.
The ideal months for the Asthapad Kailash Mansarovar Yatra are May to September, when the weather is relatively stable, the skies are clear, and mountain views are at their best.
According to Hindu belief, Mount Kailash is the divine residence of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. For Jains, Asthapad is where Rishabhdev Bhagwan attained salvation, making it one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites. Taking part in the Kailash Parikrama and Manasarovar Snan (holy dip) is said to wash away sins and lead one closer to moksha (liberation).
