This is a trek set in a remote and largely unexplored area of the Himalaya. The Dhaula-Dhar region of Himachal Pradesh is inhabited by the Gadi people, Hindu shepherds who migrate each spring with their flocks from the foothills of the Kangra valley to the rich grazing areas of Lahaul and Himachal Pradesh.
As for the 'Valley of the Goddess' we will have ample time to soak up the atmosphere of the Tibetan community at McLeod Ganj and Dharamshala before going the trek. Dharamshala to the Chamba valley, over the Indrahar Pass.
Today we will go for sightseeing and visiting, His Holiness Monastery, St. John's Church in Wilderness, Naddi Talnoo, Dal Lake, Bhagsu Shiva temple and water fall. overnight at hotel.
An excellent start to our journey as we trek through rhododendron forest, hand-tilled fields and small, friendly villages. We camp near an old Forest Rest House with impressively large deodar. After a steep climb of an hour we reaches at Galu on top and explore the surrounding areas. 4-km trek is towards Gunna Devi and the Kali temple. Overnight at Camp.
Classic walking today as we head north through Meadows bordered with ancient rhododendron trees that give the most wonderful display of colour in spring. Relu Gote-The trails are good and the scenery magnificent. We camp near a river beside the village of Jari Gote is located at the base of Bhimaghasutri Pass. Overnight at Camp.
Early in the morning start trekking (7 Km) to reach Illaqa Gote, with views of Mun Peak as well as the other snow capped peaks.
Early morning trek to triund is the base camp for trekkers going to Chamba and Bharmour. With views of Dhauladhar, sunset and panorama of Kangra valley-of-flowers-trek.html, plains of Punjab and Shivalik ranges are the unique sights from this place. Overnight at Camp.
The whole valley-of-flowers is dotted with a varieties of exotic flowers and other flora. Trek descends down the valley-of-flowers-trek.html - Mcleod Ganj, Bhagsu and Dharamshala town.
