Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Transfer to Kathmandu Airport for flight to Lhasa. Upon arrival you will be met by our Tibetan agent and transferred to the Hotel

Day 2 - 3

Sightseeing tours in Lhasa (Potala palace, Sera Monastery, Jokhang temple and Bakhor street, Drepung Monastery)

Day 4

Drive to Shigatse (approximately 4-5 hours) following the Lhasa River. Afternoon visit the Tashilumpo Monastery. Overnight at Shigatse Hotel

Day 5

Drive to Kharta, you leave the highway and drive close to Kharta where your trekking crews will set the first camp. The magnificent views of Lhotse, Cho Oyu and Everest is expected from the camp

Day 6

Trekking (4-5 hr) towards the mountain ranges. You will see the magnificent views of Makalu and Everest, overnight camp

Day 7

Trek to Tangmoche-4350m (4-5 hr)

Day 8

Trek to Sagar- approximately 4800m (4-5 hr)

Day 9

Trek to Pola Valley- 4500m via Doya Ri- 5300m (7-8 hr)

Day 10

Trek for about 3 hour and drive to Everest base camp-5150m, overnight camp

Day 11

Excursion to the Rongbuk glacier for the magnificent view of Mt. Everest, return to BC for overnight camp

Day 12

Drive about 150 km to the Cho Oyu base camp, overnight camp at Driver's camp-4900m

Day 13

Excursion to Cho Oyu base camp (approx. 5 hr)

Day 14

Trekking back to Driver Camp and drive to Zhangmu, overnight at hotel

Day 15

Clearing the Chinese customs, travel down to the Friendship Bridge where you re-enter Nepal and after completing the immigration formalities drive to Kathmandu (4-5 hr), transfer to the hotel. Tour ends...
