Earlier the hunting preserve of the Maharajas of Jaipur, the Park at Ranthambore was once the scene of royal hunting parties. Today, it is famous for its tigers and is one of the best places in the country to see these majestic predators in the wild.
Tigers can be spotted quit often even during the day, at their normal pursuits - hunting and taking care of their young. With the strict measures that have been taken for their accustomed to human activity and are not disturbed by it. A good time to visit is between November and April when the nature of the dry deciduous forests makes sightings common.
Ranthambore has large numbers of sambar, chital and nilgai. Sounders of boar and an occasional gazelle - the chinkara can be seen, as also the Indian hare, mongoose and monitor lizards.
FThe lakes and pools at the Park are where the deer congregate and where it is easiest to see the animals. Among the other local fauna are the leopard, hyena, jackal, jungle cats, sloth bear and marsh crocodile. Jacanas. painted sto-k. hiaci-. stork, and white necked stork are seen along the water bodies. Peafowl are found in abundance and other birds include Bonelli's eagle, crested serpent eagle, the great Indian horned owl, quail, partridge, spur fowl and the paradise flycatcher.
The Park which covers an area of 392 sq. km. is set between the Aravalli and Vindhya ranges. Its deciduous forests were once a part of the magnificent jungles of Central India. The terrain is rugged and there are rocky ridges, hills and open verfteys with lakes and pools. Ranthambore's royal past manifests itself in the picturesque ruins that dot the Park.
Tiger, Ranthambore National ParkThere are lake palaces, chhatris, old fortifications and a majestic thousand year old fort. On a height overlooking the Park. The forest rest house at the foot of the Ranthambore fort is located in the lovely Jogi Mahal. It overlooks a tank - the pretty Padam Talao, afloat with water lilies.

Visit Red Fort, built in 1648 by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan, Jama Masjid, one of the largest Mosque of India, Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana, the cremation sites of Mahatama Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. Also drive past Chandni Chowk, shopping centre of Old Delhi.

Later in the afternoon transfer to airport to catch flight for Udaipur1345 hrs. - Leave for Udaipur by 9W 7071455 hrs. - Arrive Udaipur and tranfer to hotel. Relax for rest of the day.

City tour of UdaipurVisit the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, drive around Fatehsagar Lake, Sahelion ki Bari (Queen resort for her friends) and Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (Folk Art Museum)

After breakfast drive to beautiful Pink City - Jaipur. Reach and check in at hotel. Relax for remainin part of the day.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for excursion to Amber Fort in the outskirts of Jaipur. Proceed for sight-seeing of the city. This morning you will experience the wonders of this magicial pink city, as you proceed on a tour of Amber fort (optional: Elephant Safari). Later visit the Jagmandir or the Hall of victory glitterning with mirrors, Maharaja's City Palace and the Observatory. Drive past Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds and through the rose pink residential and business areas of Jaipur
Explore the city markets in the evening
Breakfast at hotel transfer to SAWAI MADHOPUR. Upon arrival, check into your hotel.
Evening free at the hotel and you can relax or watch some slides on the tiger.

On the day 8 of your tour drive to Bharatpur. Reach and check in at the hotel. Proceed on RICKSHAW for viewing the birds.
Return to the lodge in the evening and relax.

Proceed for sight-seeing to the AGRA FORT and also visit Itmadullah's Tomb.
Later in the evening transfer to Agra Railway Station to catch train for Jabalpur

Reach Jabalpur and you will be transferred to Kanha.by our representative to your hotel. Relax for a while and in the afternoon proceed for GAME DRIVE to view TIGERS.

Proceed for the morning Game Drive into the forest. Later drive back to Jabalpur Railway Station to board train for Delhi.
