Rajasthan is not only known for its forts and havelis, this huge royal state is also the home to some of the finest Jain Temples in India. It can be best known by the fact that a major number of Swetambara and Digambara temple are located in this state.

In the south-western region, one can find good number Svetambara temple, while the north-eastern area is dominated by the Digambara centers. In fact it is state that house the famed Dilwara Jain Temple and the magnificent Ranakpur Temple.

Day 1 Delhi - Siddhant Tirth Kshetra Shikohpur - Alwar [Tijara] Shri Mahaveerji

Begin your tour
Welcome to Vardhman's "Rajasthan Jain Pilgrimage Tour"
In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel/home/airport/railway station & then drive straight to Tijara ji.
Enroute you may visit Siddhant Tirth Kshetra Shikohpur. The Pancha Balayati Tirthankar idols are the prime attractions of this place. It has the idols of Lord Mahavira, Vasupujya, Mallinath, Naminath and Parshwanath.
The ancient Jain heritage centre Nandanvan has been converted into a spiritual center at Shikohapur village. This has been developed under the blessings of Jain Muni Acharya Sri 108 Bahubalisagarji Maharaj. This has been named as Siddanth Tirth Kshetra.
Visit Shri 1008 Chandra Prabhu Digambar Jain Atishaya Kshetra Dehra Tijara is located in Tijara, District Alwar (Rajasthan). The principal deity of Tijara Atishaya Kshetra is Bhagwan Chandra Prabhu (The 8th Teerthankar). The idol of Bhagwan Chandra Prabhu is very beautiful and attractive in Padmasana Posture made of white stone that was discovered on August 16, 1956 after digging. Another temple of Tijara City is an ancient beautiful temple with attractive pinnacles. This was constructed in V.S. 1895. The principal deity of this temple is Bhagwan Parshvanath (23rd Teerthankar). The idol of Bhagwan Neminath (22nd Teerthankar) is said to be miraculous; this was installed in V.S. 1135. Other idols of this temple were installed in V.S. 1548.
Later, proceed to Shri Mahaveerji.

Day 2 Shri Mahaveerji

Shri Mahaveerji Atishaya Kshetra is famous all over the world for Bhagwan Mahaveer's miraculous idol discovered from the earth 400 years ago. This Kshetra is situated at Chandangaon near river Gambheer in district Karauli of Rajasthan, the biggest state of India. This temple is surrounded by Dharmashalas (Guesthouses). The premises of Dharmashalas surrounding the temple are called Katla. In the center of Katla, main temple is situated. The entrance gate of Katla is very attractive and magnificent.
Visit various other temples in the vicinity.

Day 3 Mahaveerji - [Choolgiri Jain Temple, Jain temple Sanganer] - Jaipur

After an early breakfast visit Chulgiri Jain Temple & Shri Digamber Jain temple of Sanganer.
“Chulgiri” The temple is built in the midst of the Aravalli ranges, at the top of Chulgiri Hills, which is 1000 steps from the ground. Around the year 1966, three white stone sculptures of Shree Parshavnath, Mahaveer Swami, Tirthankars, and Neminath were inaugurated. Later the temple was renovated with 24 Tirthankar statues and a water tank to collect water for worship. Later in the year 1982, one of the tallest statues of Mahaveer Swami was constructed, which is around 21 feet tall. A 65 feet dome was also made to cover the statue. The statue is huge, beautiful, and made of white stone. The temple is one of the most religious spots for Jains.
Visit, the ancient Shri Digamber Jain temple of Sanganer has fine carvings that are comparable to the Dilwara temples of Mount Abu that are built in many phases. Shri Digamber Jain temple Sanghiji is a jewel of town. This is an old temple, represents the ancient style of architecture completed in many phases, last phase of this spectacular temple was completed in 10th century A.D. according to inscription of V.S. 1011 in one of the pylons (Toranas). In this temple the Principal Deity the Lord Adinath (Rishabh Dev), the first tirthankar are supposed to be 4000 years old.
Proceed to Jaipur.

Day 4 Jaipur- Shri Digamber Jain Atishaya Kshetra Padampura - Jaipur

After a delicious breakfast, embark on a drive to Pink City Jaipur.
Visit Amber fort - which is set on the dry wrinkled Aravali Hills, and surrounded by fortified battlements. We will ride up to this hilltop palace on a caparisoned, painted elephant on extra cost. Later visit the Jagmandir or the Hall of victory glittering with mirrors, Maharaja's City Palace and the Observatory - The Solar Observatory - an astronomical treasure house, with solar device that give accurate predictions till date. The City Palace reflects a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Drive past HawaMahal or the Palace of Winds, a five-storied structure of pink sandstone with semi-octagonal and delicately honeycombed windows overlooking the main street of the old city and through the rose pink residential and business areas of Jaipur.
Later in the evening you may visit Bara Padampura. It is a place of miracles (Atishaya Kshetra) famous in north India for its very beautiful idol of Bhagawan Padamprabhu (The 6th Teerthankar) in cross legged seating posture 2 feet & 4 inch in height made of white stone. This was appeared while digging for foundation of a house by Moola Jat. The day when this idol appeared was Vaishakh Shukla 5 V.S. 2001.

Day 5 Jaipur Ranthambore - Visit Chamatkarjee Jain Temple

After breakfast at the hotel proceed to Ranthambore National Park.
Visit, Atishaya Kshetra Chamatkarji. It is situated in the historic city of Sawai Madhopur of Rajasthan, which is surrounded by beautiful hills of Arawali Mountain Range. At Chamatkarji Atishaya Kshetra, a 6 inches high miraculous idol of Bhagwan Adinath in Padmasana posture is installed in a beautiful altar. Due to the miracles of this small idol, the name of this Kshetra was kept Chamatkarji (Chamatkar - miracles).

Day 6 Ranthambore - Shri 1008 Munisuvratnath Digambar Jain Atishay Kshetra Jahazpur (Swasti Dham), Jahazpur

Early morning you may proceed for a Safari on Jeep or Canter on sharing basis.
Ranthambore National Park is one of the largest national parks in northern India. It is considered as one of the best place to view the powerful majestic predator Indian Tiger in the jungle. Today, Ranthambhore National Park has become a popular tourist destination in the world for jungle safaris.
Return back to hotel after safari and proceed to beautiful Jahazpur Jain Temple.

Day 7 Jahajpur – Bijolia – Shri Adinda Parshvnath Digambar Jain Atishaya Kshetra, Adinda

Visit the Temple and proceed to Adinda Paranath
Enroute visit Bijolia Temple.
This place has world biggest Stone Inscriptions providing proof of this place to be more than 2750 years old! Acccoring to the inscriptions, this is the place where Lord Parshwanth aatined Kevalgyan (divine Knowledge).Surrounding the ancient temple, Teerthankar idols are installed in mini temples.
In the forenoon, proceed to Adinda Atishaya Kshetra.
Adinda Parshwanath Atishay Kshetra is situated close to Udaipur city of Rajasthan in the forest on the banks of river between the beautiful hills full of natural & clean & peaceful environment. The place is magnificently developed for devotees & this place is known as Atishaykari (Place of Miracles) and it has become an important pilgrim India.

Day 8 Adinda – Rishabdev – Nagfani - Banaswara

Visit the temple and proceed to Banaswara.
On the way visit Rishabhadeoji. The name of the town is Dhulev, however it is better known as Rishabhadeo. It is a well-known pilgrim site. The main attraction is the temple of Rishabhadeoji , the first Jain tirthankara. Local Bhils also worship the deity. Lord Rishabhadeo is also Kesariaji because a large offering of saffron (Keshar, a common ingredient in Jain rituals) is made to the deity. The main idol of this temple is Digambar Lord Rishabh Dev carved in black stone in Padmasana posture about 3.5 feet tall. Long hair of idol touches the shoulders. Two oxen are carved in the center of simhasana (platform) of the main idol, which also has 16 dreams of the mother of Tirthankar.
Visit Nagfani temple before proceeding to Banaswara.
The temple is an ancient spired structure. The idol of Bhagwan Parshvanath on the forehead of his disciple Dharnendra is established in the sanctum of the temple. Dharnendra is sitting in Lalitasan & his idol is quite attractive, artistic & ornamented. This idol is famous ‘Nagphani Parshvanath’.

Day 9 Banaswara - Arthuna Stone Temples- Banaswara

After breakfast visit Arthuna as well as its surrounding areas which have clusters of ruined Hindu and Jain temples belonging to the 11th, 12th and the 15th centuries. Among the dilapidated ruins is a beautifully carved conjugated statue of Shiva, Parvati and Ganesh. Lankiya village around Arthuna has Shaivite temples called Nilkanth Mahadev Temples. This old Digamber Jain Nasiyaji Atishaya Kshetra exist on a beautiful Hill which is located 1 km ahead in south of 'Amaravati' (now named as Arthuna).

Day 10 Banaswara - Udaipur

After a leisurely breakfast, proceed to Udaipur.
On arrival check into your pre-booked hotel.

Boat Cruise on Lake Pichola
Visit the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, drive around Fatehsagar Lake, Sahelion ki Bari (Queen resort for her friends) and Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (Folk Art Museum)
Boat curise on Lake Pichola 4km long and 3km broad, surrounded by splendid hills, Palaces, temples bathing ghats and embankments.

Day 11 Udaipur – Dilwara Jain Temples - Mountabu

Proceed to Mount Abu.
Visit Dilwara Jain Temples is one of the finest Jain temple known world over for its extraordinary architecture and marvelous marble stone carvings, some experts also consider it architecturally superior to the Taj Mahal. These temples were built between 11th to 13th century AD, The beautiful lush green hills surrounding the temple gives a very pleasant feeling. The ornamental details of marble stone carvings is phenomenal and unmatched, The minutely carved ceilings and the pillars are just amazing.
On arrival at Mount Abu transfer to hotel.

Day 12 Mountabu – Ranakpur – Osian - Jodhpur

Mount Abu is a hill station in western India’s Rajasthan state, near the Gujarat border. Set on a high rocky plateau in the Aravalli Range and surrounded by forest, it offers a relatively cool climate and views over the arid plains below. In the center of town, Nakki Lake is a popular spot for boating.
Proceed to Jodhpur and enroute visit Ranakpur Jain Temples.
The renowned Jain temple at Ranakpur is dedicated to Adinatha. The temple is designed as Chaumukha-with four faces. The construction of the temple and quadrupled image symbolize the Tirthankara's conquest of the four cardinal directions and hence the cosmos.
Osian is famous as home to the cluster of ruined Brahmanical and Jain temples dating from the 8th to 11th centuries. Of the 18 shrines in the group, the Surya or Sun Temple and the later Kali temple, Sachiya Mata Temple and the main Jain temple dedicated to Lord Mahavira stands out in their grace and architecture.

Day 13 Jodhpur – Nakoda - Jodhpur

Full day excursion to Nakoda ji.
Nakodaji is one of the famous Jain temple of India. It is situated in the forest in the hills. In this tirtha with a charming natural atmosphere all- around, we have an idol of Mulnayaka Shri Parshvanath Bhagavan. It is black in complexion, 58 cms in height and in Padmasana posture. The idols is extremely charming and miraculous. The miracles of the presiding deity of this spot, Shri Bhairavaji Maharaj are well-known. The main idol is that of Shri Nakoda Parsvanath. This statue was brought here from the village Nakoda which is near Sinduri., hence the place is called Nakoda Parsvanath temple. But this alone is not the attraction of the temple. The idol of Shri Nakoda Bheruji was installed by Acharya Shri Vijay Himachal Suri who also established idols of other Teerthankars in this temple.

Day 14 Jodhpur Depart

This morning after breakfast visit Jodhpur.
Visit the Mehrangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone hill, including Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble memorium built in 1899 and the Museum located in the Umaid Public gardens.
Later, we will transfer you to Jodhpur airport/railway station to board flight/train for your onward destination with sweet and pleasant memories of your tour escorted by Vardhman Vacations.
