Varanasi - Baragaon - Varanasi- Aligarh- Jhansi- Deogarh - Jhansi
Welcome to the land where non-violence, peace and truth have been understood and practiced for thousands of years. Uttar Pradesh, a state in north India has a long association with Jainism. Today the state is home to a number of Jain monuments, such as Jain Temples and Jain Tirth. It is an ideal destination for Jain Pilgrimage Tour. This state has not only been the birth place of a few Tirthankars but also a place where many attained Nirvana and enlightenment. Parshvanatha, the twenty-third Tirthankar, was born in Varanasi in 872 BCE. According to Jain tradition, five Tirthankars were born at Ayodhya, including Rishabh Dev the first Tirthankara, Ajitanatha, Abhinandananatha, Sumatinatha and Anantanatha. After paying homage at Varanasi, we shall head to our first Jain site at Baragaon, which is known for Parshvanath Atishaya Kshetra. We will further proceed to witness to Aligarh to witness one of the largest Jain religious centers of its kind in the country. Next visit to Deogarh via Jhansi, where we will get the opportunity to marvel at 31 Jain Temples, each special in its own way.
