Kurnool Andhara Pradesh
Peddathumbalam Jain Tirth is one of the most peaceful Jain pilgrimage destinations in the southern region of India. Located in the Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh, the tirth is dedicated to Shri Parshwamani Parshwanath Bhagwan, the 23rd Tirthankar who symbolizes compassion, renunciation, and truth. The temple offers a calm, serene spiritual environment ideal for devotees seeking inner peace and divine blessings.
The region surrounding Peddathumbalam is known for its historic Jain presence. Although today few Jain shrines remain in Andhra Pradesh, this tirth continues to preserve the ancient legacy with devotion. The temple architecture blends local craftsmanship with traditional Jain elements, featuring a finely sculpted idol of Parshwanath Bhagwan in a meditative posture, beautifully adorned with serpent hoods (Sheshnaag), representing protection and enlightenment.
Visitors can experience a deeply devotional atmosphere here, especially during morning and evening aarti. The peaceful rural surroundings, friendly locals, and spiritually charged ambience make it an ideal destination for a small pilgrimage retreat. This package lets you dive into Jain rituals, cultural insights, and a comfortable stay, making your 2-night experience spiritually enriching.
