Celebrate Diwali in its most sacred Jain form with our Sammed Shikharji Fixed Departure Tour, specially curated for devotees seeking spiritual elevation during Nirvana Kalyanak Mahotsav.
Diwali holds profound significance in Jainism as it marks the Nirvana (Moksha) of Lord Mahavir at Pawapuri, Bihar, nearly 2,500 years ago. On this auspicious occasion, devotees gather to offer prayers, light lamps, and participate in the revered Nirvana Ladoo offering ceremony.
One of the highlights of the celebration is the grand Nirvana Ladoo—a sacred offering prepared with deep devotion, sometimes weighing up to 151 kg, symbolizing the end of Lord Mahavir’s physical existence and his attainment of ultimate enlightenment. This divine ritual is accompanied by spiritual chants, illumination, and a deeply moving atmosphere of faith and devotion.
